Chapter 7005: River God
Chapter 7005: River God
“Rumble!” The repelled flood came together again and formed massive lakes in the shape of dragons.
They coiled together and formed an oceanic planet with a raging storm at the center. A dwarf walked out, wearing short trousers and making his legs look ever shorter. He resembled a turnip growing out of the ground.
He held a walking wooden stick with sharp ends, pulsing with a dark light. As it touched the ground, it caused everything to shake.
The misty presence emanating from this immortal was monstrous, seemingly signalling a world-ending flood.
“River God.” Mo Xiangsheng’s expression soured. He knew many immortals during his travel, this dwarf included.
Ye Fantian never traveled to the rest of Heavenrealm, so she was curious to see an immortal.
“Fellow Daoist.” Till Ancestor said.
River God was a grand immortal, originating from a minor world. He was no god, only a river demon lucky enough to reach the dao.
Regardless of his origin, he only had one river at the start. As he grew stronger, he took control of nearby rivers and then the ocean, ultimately dominating a whole world. Now, he had several minor worlds under his control.
He gained the title of River God and joined Vagabond Alliance.
“Till Ancestor, long time no see, it must have been 30 million years since our last meeting? I heard you were living in seclusion, now you’re here for the celestial source?” River God said.
“The pleasure is mine.” Till Ancestor spoke politely but was vigilant since this immortal was just as strong as him.
“May I ask why you are here?” River God asked.
“Just resting.” Till Ancestor said. A regular immortal couldn’t possibly detect the source.
However, it was only a matter of time before primordial immortals visited this place. However, he had accepted Li Qiye’s mission.
“What a coincidence, I want to rest as well, would that be alright?” River God smiled.
“Feel free to stay along as you want.” Till Ancestor uttered coldly, not wanting to be suspicious.
“Thank you, I’ll be starting an ocean here to cool down.” River God said.
“There are still countless living beings scattered about.” Ye Fantian protested.
Of course, the immortal didn’t care about an overlord and believed she was at best, Till Ancestor’s disciple.
“Boom!” He waved and the flood started again in Fantian Dynasty.
“Stop!” Ye Fantian shouted, having a strong attachment to her dynasty and its people.
Till Ancestor sighed and swung his hoe, uplifting the flood and preventing it from destroying the land beneath.
“Fellow Daoist, what is the meaning of this?” River God glared at him.
Till Ancestor was not afraid but didn’t wish to draw unnecessary attention to the dynasty. After seeing Ye Fantian’s reaction and not knowing her relationship with Li Qiye, he had to get involved.
“Nothing, no need for such commotion if you just want to rest.” Till Ancestor said.
“I must rest in water, and filling this place up is no big commotion.” River God said. This wasn’t outrageous for an immortal to do as he pleased.
This was akin to an immortal wanting to build a house. Did it matter if it meant the end to the ant nests beneath?
“There are still many living beings in this kingdom, please show mercy.” Till Ancestor said, choosing to explain with this justification.
“Since when are you so merciful, Fellow Daoist? I recall during your tribulation, you couldn’t stop it and hid in a world. Everything shattered then.” River God couldn’t help but laugh.
