“I spared you last time out of respect for your master. This time, it will be a true death.” Li Qiye said.
“I couldn’t ask for more.” Taichu said firmly.
“This monster, crazy but such admirable determination.” Supreme Black Ancestor remarked.
Bao Pu and the ghost were put to shame. Taichu’s greatness persisted over four generations due to his tenacity, not just his brilliant talent.

“Want me to give way?” Li Qiye smiled.
“Yes, Sacred Teacher.” Taichu said: “If I defeat you today, my master will be next.”
“Your determination is commendable, but the problem is that you’re too impatient.” Li Qiye said.
“I am aware.” He said: “This might only be my opportunity because the master told me once you let go, we will no longer have a shot. I must do it before then.”
“He’s not wrong.” Li Qiye smiled: “I can only say you were born in the wrong era.”
“Master also said if I had been born earlier, it might have been possible. Now, it’s not only him but also you.” Taichu chuckled: “But to be born in the same era as you two is an honor. The dao would be boring and lonely without you two shining the way. I am prepared to shine one last time instead of falling to mediocrity.”
Many became speechless after hearing him.
“Very well, be ready for your final battle then.” Li Qiye smiled.
“It will fulfill my lifelong aspiration, not to mention the honor of being killed by you, Sacred Teacher. But if I somehow win, it will just be me and Master henceforth.” Taichu said.
“Can you kill me?” Li Qiye smiled.
