Chapter 4913 Generational Wealth
Chapter 4913 Generational Wealth
Davis received the jade slip from Dalila and swept his soul sense through it, a long list flickering through his mind.
Before he had left on a journey with Zenova, there were as many as 309 Low-Level, 142 Mid-Level, 84 High-Level, and 4 Peak-Level Primarch Grade resources after they had spent a lot buying a lot of stuff and rewarding other people.
After he returned from hunting the Blood Realm Calamity, it seemed like more had been added to the inventory.
He was away for a year, after all.
On top of what he had gained from his expedition, his women and children managed to collect 205 Low-Level, 60 Mid-Level, 52 High-Level, and 5 Peak-Level Primarch Grade resources. This number was after the fact that they gave Jiayi Crystalveil many resources to sell for profit and gain a lot of other resources required for their specific cultivation in exchange.
Davis further glanced at Zenova and felt like he could tap into her resources, too. After all, she claimed that everything was his to use.
With that said, he asked her directly through soul transmission.
"I have 96 Low-Level Primarch Grade resources, 42 Mid-Level Primarch Grade resources, and 5 High-Level Primarch Grade resources. Of course, everything mine is yours to command, but I would prefer it if you do not give them away like they're blossoming on a tree every season. It would be better to return it with action."
"You did not have the same reaction when you used the debts to gain resources from me?" Davis asked with brows raised.
"…" Zenova pursed her lips, "You cannot possibly expect me not to take advantage of someone who wants to give. Also, it could be better if you do not take away the ones I need to use."
"Why would I take the ones you want to use?" Davis chuckled lightly as he reached out his hand and caressed her head, "I held you and increased your cultivation out of all your sisters I could've chosen. While I am admittedly careful about your actions in the future, do you not see I am also depending on you?"
"…" Zenova's eyes squinted, a healthy hue appearing on her cheek before she flicked his hand away and looked ahead, continuing to eat.
"Do as you please."
"…"
Davis inwardly laughed. It seemed like she loved public displays of affection but didn't want to be treated like a little girl.
Nonetheless, Davis added the total amount of resources their family held.
610 Low-Level, 244 Mid-Level, 141 High-Level, 9 Peak-Level Exalt Grade resources and one True Deity Grade resource. The Empyrean Grade resources were still being tabulated, but it seemed like there were as many as 17,533 ranging from Low-Level to Peak-Level.
On the other hand, the number of Peak-Level Transcendent Crystals they owned had reached a mind-boggling number.
They possessed a quadrillion- a quadrillion Peak-Level Transcendent Crystals!
This was collected through mining, looting, and trading.
They had to stop here, considering buying more Peak-Level Transcendent Crystals would be useless in exchange for Primarch Grade resources.
After all, Primarch Grade resources were not traded for Peak-Level Transcendent Crystals. Instead, they were traded for items of a similar nature or Peak-Level Vein Fragments and Vein Cores.
From Jiayi's estimate, Low-Level Primarch Grade Treasures sell for 1,000,000 Peak-Level Transcendent Crystal Vein Fragments and above.
Mid-Level Primarch Grade Treasures sell for 10,000,000 Peak-Level Transcendent Crystal Vein Fragments and above.
High-Level Primarch Grade Treasures sell for 100,000,000 Peak-Level Transcendent Crystal Vein Fragments and above.
Peak-Level Primarch Grade Treasures sell for 1,000,000,000 Peak-Level Transcendent Crystal Vein Fragments and above.
However, there was no way to have that many Vein Fragments since Vein Cores only generate a small quantity of Vein Crystals every cycle. Hence, it was better to exchange with resources of similar grade. Bartering with other resources was the better option.
Hence, they decided to sell for Vein Fragments next, with the help of Jiayi Crystalveil, and the number of Peak-Level Transcendent Crystal Vein Fragments altogether reached 52,000,000.
As for Peak-Level Transcendent Crystal Vein Cores, there were as many as 326!
On top of it, they also had an incredible amount of Elemental Transcendent Crystals and Essence Orbs, as well as a minor quantity of Quintessence Orbs. After all, they went to the Elemental Dimension Secret Realm.
Just for the space-attribute alone, they had collected over twelve Space-Attributed Peak-Level Transcendent Crystal Vein Cores and twenty-eight thousand and four hundred Space-Attributed Peak-Level Transcendent Crystal Vein Fragments. They were helpful to Exalts and Primarchs and would even help them to populate Stella's realm with spatial heaven and earth energy, allowing her to grow at faster speeds.
There were also three million space-attributed Peak-Level Transcendent Crystals.
They had plenty in store for crystals that encompass Primarch Laws like Fire Laws and Earth Laws.
As for Essence Orbs, there were as many as 1567 of varying nature and levels in the Immortal Emperor Grade and Empyrean Grade. Their family didn't even bother to record it first, since most of them were useless to them already. For Quintessence Orbs, there were only 4, but this was not counting the 3252 Blood Quintessence Orbs of the Primarch Grade!
The icing on the cake was the True Deity Grade resource!
His lips curled as even he had to admit the accumulation of these resources and final tally was terrifying!
Davis felt giddy but suppressed the urge to dance and instructed the members of the Treasury to bring over certain resources.
As the banquet was halfway over, Jaisi Alstreim was about to bring in more refreshments and dishes if there were any requests, but Davis stopped her.
He moved to the platform nearby where they were supposed to entertain guests with dancers or other fanfare, but it was empty.
Davis coughed lightly and called out.
"Brother Karyot, please come to the stage to receive our Davis Family's gift of gratitude for helping us survive and reunite with one another. This kind of favor can't be belittled or simply spoken of as repayment when the future is uncertain. Hence, it is better to repay starting now when I have the chance to do so."
"…"
Karyot was speechless.
This brother really knew how to get it started since he guessed other disciples would feel embarrassed to step on stage or dignified to not accept gifts from a junior, but not him!
Karyot stood up and instantly appeared beside Davis.
"What do you have for me, brother? I won't accept anything above Primarch Grade resources, I'm telling you."
He flicked his sleeves, appearing pompous.
"…" Davis blinked. The other party was trying to be as shameless as him! No, more shameless than him.
"The Davis Family likes to gift one High-Level Primarch Grade resource each, nearly aligned to your respective cultivation path. Please accept our gratitude."
He cupped his hands as a jade container floated beside him.
Karyot didn't stand on ceremony and grabbed it before he looked into it, his eyes gleaming with shock.
He guessed it was a resource called the Voidwind Cyclone Core Seed. It spun violently inside the jade container, making him nearly jump as it was a resource that was perfectly fit for his Warping Gust Wings.
"Little brother!"
He looked at Davis, his eyes wide, unable to believe he would even match it with his cultivational aspects. This was a resource that was an amalgamation of Wind Laws and Space Laws. If it went to the market, its value could be appraised at around five hundred million Peak-Level Transcendent Crystal Vein Fragments!
"No worries. Please accept." Davis waved his hand, "I don't have highly compatible resources like this for the others for the most part, so excuse our poor collection. We could've collected much more, but it's a pity time had run out- sigh."
Leaving Karyot speechless again, Davis turned to look towards the banquet table, where he saw his women giggling. His lips curled in satisfaction since they seemed to support his decision. He waved his hand, "Next, Fairy Qiyra, your aid directly allowed me to survive the clutches of a vengeful and cunning Realm Master, so a Peak-Level Primarch Grade resource is in order. Please accept- accept."
He called out to her as he brought out another jade container, causing Fairy Qiyra to feel incredulous.
Was he really giving it away?
An Empyrean was trying to gift a Peak-Level Primarch Grade resource?
She had seen many people make claims that teetered on the edge of their capacity, but not many dared to follow through.
Fairy Qiyra Darkstar composed herself, "This resource is valuable, but still useless for someone like me who is teetering on the level of the next stage. You should keep it for yourself and enhance your own cultivation."
"I have enough for myself, Fairy Qiyra. Otherwise, I wouldn't be doing this, but fine, since you said it, at least accept a High-Level Primarch Grade resource as a token of appreciation and allow me to repay later." Davis insisted.
Peak-Level Primarch Grade resources were in shortage, so he didn't want to give them away. He was even giving away two of them to Leader Arnoxin out of the nine that the Davis Family possessed. That would leave seven to themselves, but with this gift, it would become six, but Fairy Qiyra Darkstar seemed disinclined to accept.
Still, he didn't know what would've happened if Fairy Qiyra hadn't been there for him. She had even used her broken replica, which was supposed to be her last resort trump card. A treasure of that caliber might be as valuable as a True Deity Grade resource. It was unknown when it would recover, so he felt like he owed a great deal.
"Mhm~ Junior brother Karyot will accept for me." Fairy Qiyra Darkstar didn't coldly reject anymore, but she remained seated, her gaze slightly moving towards Jaisi Alstreim as though expecting something.
"…" Karyot stared at the first disciple with one of his brows raised.
Why must he accept for senior Qiyra when she was present?
"Haha, thanks to senior Qiyra for gifting your lovable and stunning junior brother." Karyot pounced on the gift and ran away with it, leaving the banquet hall.
"…"
It left everyone at the banquet speechless.
