Chapter 4888 Broken Teachings?
Chapter 4888 Broken Teachings?
Karyot's jaw dropped as he turned speechless.
He returned his gaze to Davis, "What did you do to senior sister? Not only is she acting strange, but she is also supporting you?"
Davis raised his hand and scratched his head, looking embarrassed.
He really couldn't tell that he got the Celestial Transcendent looking for them personally, could he?
However, his awkward gestures invited a totally different speculation from the disciples, causing them to be dumbfounded.
"No way…"
Karyot looked at Davis and Qiyra Darkstar, forming innumerable indecent images in his mind. Yet, it was full of mosaics as he really couldn't imagine the cold and aloof senior sister folding to this rogue.
*Whoosh!~*
Karyot appeared beside Davis, looking fabulous with his hand over his hair.
"Brother, your charm appears to be impeccable to the opposite gender. Why don't you teach me the ways? Ah!"
He was sent flying into the sea with a formless push.
Qiyra Darkstar glared at him before turning to look at Davis.
"Regardless, you don't need to do anything. Helping you return is something our master asked of us, and we will fulfill any wish to repay her. It's not something you should feel burdened about."
Davis was still speechless as he saw Karyot flying a few kilometers and crashing into the sea.
Fortunately, Karyot was a carefree individual who hated formality, so he would love to be sent flying rather than chastised. He guessed that if Qiyra Darkstar could understand that, then she wasn't as secluded or introverted as she seemed, but her heart was really closed off.
Nonetheless, he could see the bond these disciples shared was genuine. Even though they were from different times, they really viewed themselves as brothers and sisters- of course, until he broke two of them into accepting each other.
He turned to look at her, "I will do as I wish. The worst thing that could happen is being made fun of if I am unable to fulfill my promise. I don't care for such trivialities."
"A True Deity Grade resource is not a triviality."
"Yes, but that's how much your help was worth to my family. We will never forget this matter."
Qiyra Darkstar paused, not understanding why he was being so aggressive about making a loss. She let out a breath.
"Then you can help master instead of us. Make her reach higher levels and protect her no matter what."
"That goes without saying." Davis smirked as he looked into the distant sea, "Perhaps…"
"Perhaps what?"
"Nothing."
Davis smiled enigmatically before turning to look at the two people who approached him.
They were none other than Laphria Rinmei and Jaiyan.
They appeared to have calmed down after confessing their love to each other and promising to marry.
Jaiyan gestured with a wry smile, "Divine Emperor of Death, aren't you sure you aren't the Emperor of Romance instead?"
"No way. I suck at it." Davis waved his hand before he grabbed his chin, appearing smug, "It's all thanks to my ridiculously handsome face and power that I shine bright like a diamond."
"Haha, really narcissistic. Anyway, I owe you one. I will not forget this day. We started off on a bad note since you really looked like you wanted to harm master. Now, you don't seem as bad as you looked that day."
"Well, we had our history, which had been rectified… It's not a problem anymore. My apologies if I came off as rude that day. I had no chill after being cornered."
"Understandable." Jaiyan nodded.
Laphria Rinmei pouted, "You rogue, I also owe you one. I will forget about taking junior sister Myria from you, but don't be a baddie and take so many women. You need to treat her more special than the others."
"…"
Myria turned to look back and saw Ivy Aries, Jade Aurora, Vereina, Illumina, Nyoran, and Rokushi Mirai look at each other. Nadia grinned, knowing she had seniority over all of them as she licked her lips, which meant she could sit on their heads.
'I guess- considering she's my soul-mother two incarnations ago…'
Davis inwardly laughed before shaking his head, "I, Davis Loret, try not to give special treatment and treat everyone equally, but there are times when I forget myself in passion. I suppose brother Jaiyan and brother Karyot also have experience in this matter."
"Uh? Senior brother, you do?" Laphria Rinmei turned to ask innocently.
"…" Jaiyan blinked at Davis, 'Brother, I thought we just became friends… why are you throwing me into the sea soon after?'
He closed his eyes and resigned himself to death.
Davis said smugly, "Of course, they are both men. How could they not get some escorts or have some encounters after living for millions of years? I'm surprised the sisters here are more or less all inexperienced. Regardless, does junior sister's opinion of your husband change after this?"
"…" Laphria Rinmei blinked. She considered for a few moments as she remained silent before she shook her head.
"I don't mind as long as senior brother is with me. I don't wish to restrict him."
She turned to look at him as she grabbed her hand, her eyes full of worship.
"…" Jaiyan felt undeserving but also moved.
His junior sister Laphria was a cheerful goddess.
Davis nodded, "It's better to reveal these matters before you get in deep. After tangling too much, it will turn rather messy."
Jaiyan nodded but simply gave up, "Alright, I'll listen to a life's senior. You really are experienced. No wonder you can run a family."
He gave a thumbs-up.
"…"
Davis's smile froze. He wasn't the one who ran the family, other than spearheading it. It was the dutiful and responsible wives who made it happen. However, he nodded shamelessly, accepting the praise.
At this moment, the Frostcloud Sword Empress cut in between them, her presence simply piercing.
"Strange… how did you know we female disciples are inexperienced?"
"Uhh… just a guess…"
Davis averted his gaze, careful not get sliced, "I mean, considering Saintess Lunaria's character, she would've taught you the values of being a sensible and virtuous woman, no?"
"Master did… but she also taught it to the male disciples."
Glacia Frigidveil took out her icy sword and placed it over Jaiyan's neck, "You've broken our master's teachings."
"Senior sister, spare me!"
Jaiyan cried out with his hands raised.
"I'm back!"
Karyot returned only to get the same treatment from the Frostcloud Sword Empress. He jumped as he pointed at Davis.
"Slander! Despite how I look, I'm still… still…."
"Inexperienced? Whoa." Davis gasped.
"I'm not…!" Karyot retorted red-faced in shame but froze.
An icy sword came after him, causing him to jump into the sea again.
'Bro is definitely inexperienced.'
Davis inwardly laughed but found himself laughing out loud.
Glacia Frigidveil stopped chasing after Karyot, her cold expression turning warm as she turned to look at Davis.
'He's like a breath of fresh air to us…' She thought, 'Not bad. My disciple's husband is nearly perfect in every regard, jovial and understanding. He doesn't misuse Heart Intent. No wonder she fell head over heels for him.'
She looked around and noticed something strange, a gaze.
"…" Lucian looked away as though he had been caught.
However, Glacia Frigidveil appeared before him, occupying his vision.
"What's your physique's name?"
She asked, causing Lucian to quiver, "S-Solar Apocaly- Acopalyp- I mean, Solar Apocalypse Physique…!"
He finally said, knowing he had fumbled so hard.
However, Glacia Frigidveil didn't seem to laugh. Her gaze was filled with curiosity.
"Interesting, so our physiques are attracted to each other. My Iceborne Calamitous Body to your Solar Apocalypse Body Physique. Could you feel the same attraction?"
"…!?"
Davis looked dumbfounded.
'Of course, why didn't I think of this before? The name of their physiques is quite the polar opposite. Niel, rest in peace, my friend. My son might get my wife's master before you even get to meet her…'
Davis cupped his palm inwardly as he prayed for his friend.
With how Lucian fumbled, he could tell that there was indeed attraction between their physiques.
