The sound of laughter echoed through the warm afternoon air. Six of them, older children, all around nine years old, had claimed the center of the wonderful courtyard that looked like a classical garden. They turned the space into a chaotic playground for an improvised game that shifted rules every few minutes according to their needs or selfishness.
One moment, they were racing between trees, and the next, they were pretending to be heroes chasing bandits or warriors striking down wild beasts.
With them were also two toddlers following them around wherever they went.
They were clad in beautiful white robes, and what appeared to be nine tails sprouted from their back, but didn't elongate long to a full tail. One of them possessed heterochromia eyes, one sapphire and the other golden, while the other was both golden.
Even as small, cute kids, they possessed an outstanding aura of the Emperor-Tier, pushing lifeforms around them to be quite caring of them. The color of their hair was white and slightly greenish, like a breezy verdant wind. Even though they didn't understand what was going on for the most part, their little faces were etched with gleeful smiles, their laughter echoing the brightest. When they couldn't catch up, they would squeal in excitement, wanting to give chase.
Their elder siblings all turned their heads occasionally, looking at them as though they were priceless treasures.
One of the two toddlers held a small cloth doll of a fox with nine tails, and the other held a human doll clad in a purple robe. They held it close to their hearts even while playing, but when they weren't holding it, it hung on their sash like sachets.
Watching them with a hint of calmness from the balcony were a few youths who looked extraordinary.
"In Class Three, I can't decide who will become the strongest…" Said a black-robed man who was a bit muscular.
"I can't decide who's the cutest. Are Evergrace and Everdream going to be included in Class Three?" Lamented a black-robed woman.
"Aren't they considered to be in Class Four?" A crimson-black robed man raised his brows, "They're still two or three years old, unlike other children who were born during the past decade. Our siblings of Class Three are already around nine years old."
"Sigh… Time passes so fast, even though we were also cultivating in time chambers…" A silver-haired man clad in a golden robe walked over to them and looked over to the courtyard. His sharp, intelligent eyes surveyed them for a few moments before eventually softening.
He nodded with a gaze full of approval before turning to look at his elder half-siblings, Noctis, Styx, and Ragna, who were Mother Nadia's children.
Noctis was clad in a black-robe, his long purplish-black hair hanging over a bit below his shoulder, while a mix of blonde hair also colored over the sides of his head. The three tails he possessed were also a similar color to his hair but lacked the blondeness.
Styx was also dressed in a black robe embroidered with crescent patterns, her long purple hair cascading down to her waist. Her tail was also similar without any changes.
As for Ragna, he was clad in a crimson-black robe and his hair was a color of the darker shade of blonde. Different than his hair, his tail was purple-black in color. They appeared like midnight stars when shining under the moonlight.
These three siblings possessed pale skin that made them appear incredibly fair, like they were ghosts or denizens of the underworld.
"Little brother Tianyu~" Styx greeted the newcomer.
Tianyu nodded back, "The three of your progress in cultivation is also not bad. It appears we might have all reached the Immortal King Stage."
The three of them nodded.
"How's your fiancée?" Ragna asked with a teasing smile, his lips curling with a dubious look.
Tianyu chortled, "Don't be jealous. Yulia has also entered the Immortal King Stage. She will be exiting seclusion shortly. By the way, I don't see Xiesha, Arc, and Felix. Where are they? Doesn't the recent summons require all of us to assemble?"
