Seeing that Dewzai was unresponsive, Davis dropped his hands.

She wore a crimson-black robe, different from the one she wore in the Candidacy. Her hair was that more velvety than crimson, appearing dark red, signifying her Devilish Fox Flame Clan’s traits. She carried a strange flame mark on her forehead, which made her appear even more dazzling. Even with her crimson veil, Davis could see that she was an empire-toppling beauty.

’Yes... if I remember correctly, she was also in the ranks of Celestial Fairies long ago in her era...’

He stopped right there and didn’t go further down her neck.

"If you need any help, feel free to ask. As long as it isn’t something that takes too much of my time or is dangerous, we will be inclined to help Shirley’s friend."

"..." Shirley didn’t know whether to feel proud or amused. She was curious if this was unique to a Devilish Flame Fox’s instinct, kind of like where a turtle beast whose bloodline involves karma could instinctively feel danger.

She teased Dewzai as she always did and brought her along, not leaving her alone.

All of them sat on the couch with a rectangular table in the middle.

Dewzai, Shirley, Flamerose, and Frostrose sat to the left.

Tia, Davis, Isabella, and Myria sat to the right. The refreshments were already served on the table the moment Flamerose and Frostrose sensed Davis and Shirley coming out of their palace. There was plenty of food to go by, their unique aroma bringing the realization of hunger.

Davis didn’t hold back and partook in feasting on the sumptuous meal filled with new kinds of meat.

At first, Davis and the others were tasting the dishes one after another and praising them individually, but eventually, they moved on to topics they needed to discuss.

"Yes, we have seen Niera. She is over two million kilometers away, not that far. She is still in a trance, cultivating." Isabella reported, "There’s no need to worry since Freya is guarding her. I must say, she has also grown tremendously strong."

Davis nodded. Since Isabella confirmed it with her own eyes, he relaxed.

I came to know of it after encountering a Prismatic Soul Phoenix from the Divine Phoenix Galaxy. She was kind enough to teach us a few things about the true power of the Fire Phoenix that retained its fire attribute and became the White Flamecrest Phoenix."

"White Flamecrest Phoenix..." Davis’s sapphire eyes flashed with ardent interest.

He could imagine its majestic figure before he asked, "Did Freya become a White Flamecrest Phoenix? A Grand Saint Magical Beast?"

"Yes, but no. She has become a Grand Saint Magical Beast called the Scarlet Immolation Phoenix. She still has the traits of the Burning Phoenix, remember? That made her a variant of the White Flamecrest Phoenix! Her bloodline is still a mix of the Fire Phoenix and the Vermilion Bird!"

Davis’s lips parted with surprise while Myria and the others already seemed privy to this information. While Davis was sleeping, they did go ahead and meet up with Freya before coming back.

Suddenly, Davis’s expression turned worried, "You said you met with a Prismatic Soul Phoenix from the Divine Phoenix Galaxy? Did they hound you?"

"Yes..." Shirley pouted.

Just as Davis looked angry, Shirley added, "They made me so jealous, always asking about Lea. I’m also a part of the phoenix bloodline, but they only wanted the woman who received the blessings of their Ancient Phoenix Ancestor."

"..." Davis was flabbergasted. He quickly offered, "That’s atrocious. How dare they not want my Shirley? They’re so blind. I’ll remove their eyes since they don’t need them. Then if they suddenly start wanting you, I’ll crack their skulls and pull their brains apart too."

Shirley’s smile grew resplendent as she was satisfied with Davis’s words.

"Indeed." Davis firmly nodded, "The blessing should be considered tangible according to Lea. She should be able to use it when some conditions are met. Until then, we’ll see how it plays out. Is there anything else of interest that you want to mention?"

Shirley glanced up, tapping her cheek with her finger for a while before she answered.

"This Shard Region is called the Luminous Rage Shard Region, and the amount of fire-attributed and light-attributed resources is truly high. Here, the Seven-Colored Phoenix’s Skytune Clan, Radiant Blossom Upper Realm’s Moonsmile Family, Sacred Tiger Upper Realm’s Tigerius Clan, and Saffron Harmony Upper Realm’s Mistral Family from our galaxy are roaming around frequently. As for the outsiders, I have seen many, but the Divine Phoenix Galaxy and Exalted Tiger Galaxy have a major presence in this Shard Region."
