Chapter 3227 Content Hearts
Chapter 3227 Content Hearts
"Finally… teacher decided to no longer hide her emotions…"
"Yes~ She was too shy if you asked me…"
Tina and Dalila held hands as they sent soul transmissions and celebrated with unrestrained smiles. They were the happiest for Myria other than Bing Luli since they received so many lessons from her, but she couldn't understand why she would spend so much time with them, even if it was occasional.
It certainly couldn't be because they were Ellia's sisters. They knew that was nothing more than an excuse, even if it had some truth to it, so they naturally thought it was because she held feelings for Davis in the deepest part of her heart.
Still, they didn't know it wasn't only because of shyness, as Bing Luli knew that Myria was afraid of the elusory thing known as fate, but she could see now that Myria decided to no longer hesitate and reciprocate his emotions.
Otherwise, she would've run away like before.
Davis still wrapped Myria closer to him with his left arm and healed her soul with his right thumb, his expression calm, but only his pounding heart told him how excited and joyful he was.
Naturally, Davis's satisfaction was beyond fulfilling. It felt as though he had completed a life's achievement and he could die anytime.
Such momentary and fleeting feeling of pride in successfully courting a Divine Saintess's heart swayed his soul, but the affection he held for her was more, wanting to stay, make her smile, and protect that smile as long as he could, preferably until the end of the universe.
He held her mature shape, his hand wrapped around her waist with much care, treating her as though she was a porcelain that could break at any moment.
Fairy Thunderblaze inwardly sighed as she looked at this scene. She increasingly suspected that they had something going on between them, but she really didn't expect them to play an innocent love story in front of her, not knowing what to think as they were both capable of exuding killing intent that had her heart weighing as though she was falling down into an abyss.
She was clueless as to their history but kept silent as she didn't want to disturb them, instead keeping an eye on the prisoners who might have some tricks to be able to break their seals. After all, they were Empyreal Monarchs for a reason.
Who knows what kind of trump card they possessed, waiting for the right time to unleash? However, she wondered if they would even try to use it with him here and, instead, obediently wait for someone to exchange them for resources.
Lea also kept an eye on them, actually keeping little Calypsea in front of them for fear factor.
At that point, they just had their eyes closed, not willing to see the little calamity's eyes for fear that they could be burned into nothingness in an instant. Moreover, since they were tied together, they couldn't make any big moves either.
"Lea, have little Calypsea take their spatial rings and life rings…"
At this moment, Lea heard Davis's voice in her mind. Her eyes flickered, knowing that this little spirit would be in no way harmed even if they had trump cards up their sleeves. Moreover, her intimidating factor would also be so high that they might not even want to deal with her and just throw their spatial rings away.
"Calypsea, listen to me carefully~"
Lea bent down to Calypsea's height, warming up to her, "These people tried to harm us, so you know what you must do, right?"
Calypsea's little eyes widened, "Kill!~"
She happily answered while Lea blinked, not expecting such an innocent smile from her while saying it. Either way, she smiled.
"Yes~ But you don't have to kill them in some cases. For example, if they hand over their belongings like these rings."
Lea displayed her life ring and spatial ring, as well as some hidden spatial rings she kept under her sleeves.
"But… I want to kill them."
Calypsea pouted, but that resounded in the ears of the captives like thunder, causing them to shudder as they were no longer able to fake their unconscious state.
"Sure you can~" Lea beautifully smiled, "That is… if even one of them doesn't give their belongings, burn them all."
"Yesh~"
"…!"
Hearing Lea's cold words, little Calypsea excitedly jumped as she liked destroying everything the most. That was ingrained in her soul, so when she quickly turned to look at the captives with a deep, innocent smile, it appeared as nothing but evil to them as they shuddered.
"Gib… rings!"
She appeared before one of them as she stretched her hand out.
Unfortunately, the first person was none other than Liam Moonsmile, causing his wry smile to turn wretched. Without any retort, he quickly removed his spatial ring and life ring and threw them to her, causing Calypsea to catch them, but she didn't look happy, having a lamentable smile on her face as though she couldn't get to burn him.
"Give… rings…"
She moved onto another captive and extended her hands again, her terrifying aura of realm-incinerating flames seeping into the depths of their hearts.
"Give rings~"
Receiving another set of rings, she continued her journey.
Quickly, she amassed many spatial rings and life rings filled with riches and heavenly resources.
They were still chained, but their movements at limb levels weren't restricted, so they were able to remove their spatial rings and life rings, giving them to her as they couldn't wait for her to disappear from their side.
There were no bargains or negotiations as they didn't want to get on her bad side, knowing that she was still an infant spirit who wouldn't think of anything from the act of killing strangers like them. She was too young to understand morals or values for them to plead their case.
As for the truly fainted ones, like the Mistwalkers who took the most damage since Myria targeted them specifically due to their strong souls, they were truly unconscious, so Lea directly took their rings from their fingers using her soul force.
Some had multiple spatial rings, and some didn't have any life rings. Regardless, when Calypsea returned, she had her small hands full of rings, all unbound, some inside her tiny fingers while few were afloat despite appearing to almost fall, hovering around her hands.
"Good girl~"
Lea patted her head, causing Calypsea's unhappy expression to finally lit up in delight. At least she was able to complete a task that seemed to make the person she liked the most, other than her master, happy.
"I'm hungry… want food~"
She demanded, wanting to be rewarded now, which put Lea on the spot, but receiving a soul transmission from Davis, she smiled.
"Let's go."
They flew back out of the bridge where she could obtain apocalyptic flames in the other regions while Davis's soul body and Nadia's doppelganger also followed her.
Soon enough, Davis let go of Myria as she became healed.
She raised her head, and her clear eyes seemed to draw him in, enchanting him. He wished that he could kiss her but was more occupied with admiring her exceptional beauty accentuated by her veil, which moved his heart. Her eyelids quivered with so many emotions, causing him to smile lightly as he leaned.
The lotus he once thought of to be in possession of poisonous thorns beneath its leaves was so tender enough to melt his heart.
"Not… in front of everyone…"
However, a soul transmission fell in his mind with intense embarrassment, stopping him from kissing her.
"As you wish, wifey~"
He guessed that this was already too much for a Saintess, causing him to let her go as he felt that he had taken plenty of advantage of her affection.
Meanwhile, Myria went beet red from being called in an intimate manner. Her ears were the color of an apple, and she directly disappeared from concealing herself by using light energy, causing Davis to chuckle.
"Now then… let's see what they got…"
Davis got the spatial rings and life rings from Sophie, who got them from Lea and began to check them one by one, along with the others.
