Chapter 3214 The Serpent's Sector
Chapter 3214 The Serpent's Sector
Myria glanced at the five youngsters from the Rising Human Lower Realm.
There were two women and three men, all of them wearing different robes, indicating that they weren't from the same power even though they were from the same realm.
Seeing Myria remain silent, Julaine brought her hand to her mouth and giggled.
"I wonder if you would understand if I said that we came from the Abandoned Immortal Lower Realm. Surely, you would have heard abo-"
"I know what you're talking about. I don't see the need to converse with you. That's all."
Myria cut her short and returned her gaze to the misty skies.
"Ah~ Don't be so cold." Julaine waved her hand and pouted, "We're the only immortals here that we get bullied and scorned by transcendents all the time. That's right— I heard that there was someone called the Emperor of Death leading a group from the world you came from. I also heard that he is an Anarchic Divergent. Is that true?"
Her facial expressions changed vividly behind her veil, her eyes gleaming with a thirst for knowledge, causing Myria to glance at her.
"That would be the case."
"Is that so? That's… quite sad. Such a powerful person who can survive the combined prowess of numerous Empyreal Monarchs is an Anarchic Divergent? Oh- wait, should I say that is why he's an Anarchic Divergent?"
"You talk a lot." Myria turned to glare at her, "However, I wouldn't say that isn't the case when I know he made the most effort to stay as powerful as he is."
"…"
Julaine blinked. A moment later, she took a step back and raised her hand.
"Wait… you're from his group?"
"…"
Myria's brows twitched. That should've been obvious, considering they're the last group to arrive here, no?
Was this woman before her a klutz? However, she saw that the others were also visibly shaken and became cautious, causing her to understand that they expected a big group to be here, full of miscreants and evil-looking characters.
"She's the only evil one here."
"Aiya~"
Myria pointed at Fairy Thunderblaze, causing the latter to sound in protest, "I'm as innocent as a fairy can be~"
The former almost smiled but shook her head.
These people before her had not recognized her to be someone from the Emperor of Death's group, which was understandable, considering that she took the weaker ones inside her spatial ring because she knew if the other transcendents saw them, they might gang up on them while on the other hand, she was confident enough to deal with the most of them herself even without the help of Lea and the others.
"Myria, the spirit's descending…"
However, she received an intelligence report as a tiny wolf suddenly appeared on her shoulder.
She was inwardly taken aback that Nadia decided to jump on her shoulders as it was an intimate gesture, not to mention a first. Her heart couldn't help but warm, but she realized the meaning behind her words, causing her to narrow her eyes.
"That's bad. If you can, attract its attention using whatever means necessary and try to pull it away from reaching the very bottom. Even if it is resistant to apocalyptic flames and can absorb them, the flames here would very much kill her if it were to burst like a volcano."
"Understood~"
Nadia nodded. They both knew that they shouldn't disturb Davis as that might cause him to fall prey to the Variant Dark Dragon. Leaving this mission to her doppelganger, she relaxed above Myria's shoulder, turning to look at the youngsters from the Abandoned Immortal Lower Realm.
"Weak~"
She commented and yawned, causing Julaine to gawk. She trembled, pointing at the tiny dark wolf.
"You… you… you're so cute! I'll forgive you."
Nadia blinked. Even if this human said such a thing, she couldn't believe those words, not with that woman fleeing like a stiff stick insect upon sensing the deathly aura from her.
"Don't underestimate them. All five of them have special physiques."
"Still weak."
Myria reminded through soul transmission but Nadia remained unimpressed.
"Well, that's true. They wouldn't be able to compare to an Empyreal Monarch because of the innate difference in the cultivation method unless their Law comprehension is as high as mine or they have the King-Tier Blood of a Great Saint Magical Beasts. However, I would argue their knowledge is immense about alchemy, forging, formations, runes, and medicine as they're from the Five Great Sects of the Rising Human Lower Realm, probably the cream of the crop or second to them."
"That girl might seem clumsy, but from her robe, I can tell that she's a master of medicine and physique of almost all races, capable of hitting the right places to disable her opponent's meridians even while going toe to toe with the Heavenshades."
"I see…"
Nadia was slightly impressed but at this moment, she was focused on the Apocalyptic Flame Essence.
She quickly followed it down the serpent sector while being concealed.
With the serpent's senses also restricted, it wasn't able to find it at all. However, the serpent was exactly looking at the Apocalyptic Flame Essence, its reptile eyes full of shock.
"Wait, what…? Wh-what kind of monster has this realm given birth to?"
The Phantom Gaze Cobra couldn't believe what it was seeing. Was it seeing a spirit born from the apocalyptic flames? It didn't know and was constantly questioning itself while following it in curiosity, but it went deeper and deeper beneath, causing it to come to a stop, and it might find itself roasted alive by the heat emanating from below.
The slithering scales on its body were weakened by the runes inscribed on it, after all.
"Awoooo!~*
But abruptly, the howling voice of a wolf caused it to come out of reverie in shock as its giant heart skipped a beat, turning to look at a purplish-black winged wolf howling towards the skies.
"What the fuck!? How come a Nether Springs Death Wolf is here...? What is going on in this realm…!?"
It hissed at Nadia's doppelganger in shock as though looking at a ghost of ancient times, slowly backing off, but it was Nadia's turn to be shocked as this magical beast prisoner seemed to know about its origin when even the Wicked Tamer Jaxon Harrow who was psychotically passionate about magical beasts couldn't pinpoint its species.
Nonetheless, she only briefly looked at it before returning her gaze to the Apocalyptic Flame Essence.
"…!"
It was actually rising at top speed, possibly appearing to have recognized her.
