Chapter 2693 Receiving Gifts
Chapter 2693 Receiving Gifts
Davis, Natalya, and Tanya were back on their way to their island. Just as they reached the foot of the island and were taken in a golden carriage like before, enjoying a regal mode of transport like royalty, Tanya's expression suddenly changed.
"Who!?"
*Bang!~*
She shot out of the carriage with blinding speed and pointed an icy sword in the air, instantly encasing the particular location in ice and locking space.
"Ah!~ Don't kill! It's me...!"
The void rumbled and space twisted as a purple-robed woman stepped out while holding her head as though ducking.
Tanya's killing intent evaporated in an instant, and the region stopped turning icy. Davis also stepped out, sighing lightly as he looked at the scene.
"Stella, don't sneak in like that. It's dangerous..." He figured that she had entered the island while it was opened for them.
"Hehe~" Stella awkwardly scratched her head, "I thought I might be able to sneak in and give big brother a scare."
"..."
Davis didn't have the heart to berate her as he still saw her as a teenager despite her voluptuous body.
He shook his head and got back in the carriage, suppressing his desire that was trying to flow out from the nutritious and virile yang supplements. He felt a bit uncomfortable but knowing that he could take it all out on his wives who did this to him, he was rather expectant, wanting to see their faces churn with lust and love as he thrusts into them.
As for the Godwin Family, or anything else for that matter, there was no way they could enter the Aurora Cloud Gate. Even if they tried to act like Ice Phoenix Clan's Matriarch, Cyclonis Blizzara, they would get imprisoned at the very least, so he felt like he must use the minute window he got before the showdown began to satisfy himself and his wives.
After all, his cultivation was already increasing exponentially fast, especially after he reached Level Five Immortal Stage after dual cultivating with Ellia. Cultivating more without stabilizing it would only cause him to be at a disadvantage as it might cause problems later on, although he felt that he could cure them back to health.
However, that didn't mean he was willing to abuse his body to extreme limits. He was only willing to do that when he could see better chances of gaining something beneficial but at this point, gaining something beneficial was extremely hard for him in terms of prowess. But at this moment, he couldn't help but imagine a dangerous task that he was willing to take if it meant completely dominating the world, a risk that only he was willing to take as the bee hive was already disturbed.
'Godwin Family... Godwin Family... to have handed a soul essence containing Destruction Laws to me a silver plate, this must be your unlucky era....'
Davis checked his soul and saw the myriad of soul essences swirling around his soul essence. Within those soul essences, there was one that particularly exuded the aura of destruction.
'Seems like once a human reaches the Immortal Stage, their soul essence is influenced by their immortal vessels becoming interconnected.'
With this, Davis predicted that there was bound to be some insights into Destruction Laws, allowing him to make a step forward into it.
Tanya returned to the golden carriage, and so did Stella Voidfield, making herself comfortable as she sat opposite them.
"That said, I have some gifts to deliver. Here, it's for you."
"Me?"
Tanya pointed at herself, blinking as she saw Stella Voidfield take out two scrolls and hand them over to her. She looked at Davis, wondering if it was fine for her to take it, and saw him nod his head.
She turned to look back at Stella Voidfield before grabbing those two scrolls and opening them simultaneously.
On top of two spatial rings attached to those scrolls as though they were stamps, she saw a few words written on them.
[From your grandmaster, with love.]
[To my martial niece. Don't hesitate to use them. Also, take good care of my child for me.]
Davis's jaws lightly dropped as he saw the two letters before he couldn't help but grin in delight. These two gifts were from Saintess Lunaria and Wix Voidfield!
He couldn't believe they responded so quickly after coming to know that Tanya inherited the Frostcloud Sword Empress's immortal inheritance. After all, the Frostcloud Sword Empress was Saintess Lunaria's disciple, which would automatically make her Wix Voidfield's senior sister!
Also, these letters... his eyes flickered as he saw the faint imprints on them.
Were they actually defensive talismans...? Immortal Emperor Grade ones?
"Tanya, you became a big shot overnight and obtained invincible backing." Davis let out a huge sigh, "Let me prostrate myself to you."
"Dear~ Don't make fun of me..."
Tanya pouted. But she smiled and matched gazes, sharing her happiness over receiving these gifts. Even she didn't expect to be treated like this after becoming the personal disciple of the Frostcloud Sword Empress. It seemed like her master shared a good relationship with Saintess Lunaria, but as for Wix Voidfield, she didn't know.
Were they even in the same timeline for Wix Voidfield to acknowledge her as martial niece?
"Ah... I think I'm getting jealous." Natalya coo'ed from the side, her lips curling into a sexy smile, "But... you'll never reach my level in dual cultivation."
Tanya's eyes sharpened, "Just wait. I'll surpass you in all fields. At that time-"
"Even in sucking him off?"
"Natalya!"
Tanya's cheeks reddened at Natalya's unabashed words as she glanced at the person sitting opposite them.
Stella Voidfield raised her hands and had her face hidden with her palms, appearing to be shaken by their words as she looked at them through the crevices of her fingers.
"Little girl. You actually understood what they said?" Davis was more flabbergasted by Stella Voidfield's reaction than Natalya's lewd words.
Did Stella Voidfield actually watch real-time intimate visuals with people doing it in front of her tree? He couldn't help but find it hilarious yet disgusting at the same time for people to have tainted her innocent eyes. He hoped that she threw more stones at them with her branches.
As soon as he asked the question, Stella Voidfield appeared like she had all the knowledge in the world as she gripped her waists, perked her bosoms, and raised her chin like a queen.
"Of course, I know. Hmph! I'm an adult tree, and I know everything you dumb humans do as I've practically witnessed you people's behavior for hundreds of years. She was talking about sucking your lips, right? That is not called a lip deed but called a kiss, right? I saw you do it with big sister Ellia. Making such a fuss for something like that... you, humans, are really dumb."
"..." Davis blinked before he heavily nodded, "As expected of a tree. You're truly knowledgeable."
Stella Voidfield made a sound like she didn't believe the words that she heard from his mouth before appearing slightly apologetic.
"I'm sorry for calling you humans dumb, but you shouldn't keep calling me a child, which makes me angry. After all, I'm way older than you all..."
"..." Davis was taken aback a bit by Stella Voidfield acting rather sulky.
He didn't exactly praise her but inwardly sighed, thinking that she was still a child who didn't know the concept of ill will. She couldn't even tell that he was being sarcastic, lacking experience of the world, and naively becoming apologetic, although he liked her sincerity and cheery attitude.
He didn't want her to lose that, and Tanya had also been asked to protect her from Wix Voidfield that he couldn't help but think about what was really going on in the big mother tree's mind.
Why let Stella Voidfield mingle with him?
Did he not seem dangerous to Wix Voidfield? Did he not seem even the slightest bit predatory to her? After all, all he had around him were... women!
This made him immensely curious about Wix Voidfield's character.
Was she also cheery like Stella Voidfield to not be aware of the consequences? Or was she mature, calm, and composed like a prim lady and still believed that nothing would come to pass?
But unknown to him, outside the Aurora Cloud Gate's Domain, a faint illusory figure flickered through space and arrived on a mountain peak. That figure looked into the distance, catching sight of a giant arc that could be identified as a warship passing through the clouds, bringing with it a heavy wind that caused the clouds to separate and give way for it.
"Halt."
A calm voice resounded throughout the region like a rumble of thunder, abruptly causing the giant arc to come to a stop as space was locked in an instant!
*Bang!~* *Bang!~* *Bang!~*
Many Immortal Kings inside the warship practically lost their footing from the momentum derived by the sudden stop of the warship and rammed into the inner walls of the ship. They were either heavily injured or exploded then and there into a bloody mess, causing chaos to ensue aboard the ship.
"Who!?"
A figure flew out, a hoarse male voice resounding out with rage and deep-seated hatred.
