Chapter 1035: I'm Watching Him
Pei’er? It was actually Pei’er?
Gorsa and Floco’s call had actually summoned Pei’er from the Prismatic World?
The Wind Sprite in the crowd was the most shocked person. She couldn’t help but step forward, but was held back by Beth beside her. “Let’s see the situation first.”
Though unclear why the person called over was Pei’er, her manner of descent clearly showed she wasn’t an ordinary person.
At this point, Gorsa could only place his hopes in the unfamiliar Pei’er before him.
“Saul was pulled into the Abyssal Eye by the fifth-rank wizard Douglas and hasn’t come out. Do you have any way to rescue Saul without releasing Douglas?”
Pei’er tilted her head. “What if it’s impossible to rescue Saul without releasing Douglas… would you still save him?”
Gorsa didn’t answer but asked instead, “Can you kill Douglas?”
“Why would I want to kill Douglas?”
“We called for help from Death Demons, and you came.” After a pause, Gorsa added, “Since you’re already here.”Pei’er smiled and suddenly raised her hand to grasp Saul’s hand. Several thin threads in the same form as Saul’s fate lines extended from her fingertips, connecting to Saul’s fingertips, then quickly coiling around his fingers in circles, gradually wrapping around the fingertips.
These thin threads spread from Saul’s fingertips and palm all the way to his entire body, firmly wrapping both Saul and the diary and quill pen in his hands into an oval cocoon.
To onlookers, the transformation was very fast. In just a few breaths, Saul was completely covered by silk-like thin threads.
Gorsa looked at the threads Pei’er had created, his eyes gradually lighting up.
Floco across from him couldn’t help but shrink his neck, looking at the increasingly fanatical Gorsa and could only sigh in his heart, “Ignorant people are truly blissful.”
After Saul was completely wrapped in the white cocoon, Pei’er looked down and, following Saul’s direction, saw the fate lines extending all the way to the depths of the sea.
“The battle is already over, but he indeed can’t get out on his own.”
The battle… was already over?
The confrontation between the Abyssal Eye and Douglas had already determined a winner?
But why was the sea so quiet?
Even Saul had no feedback at all.
Who could have imagined that two powerful beings that had nearly destroyed the wizard world would perish so silently?
Thinking of their terror when alive and their quiet after death, even the several fourth-rank wizards felt desolate.
Pei’er completely ignored everyone’s shock and contemplation, as if such things were already commonplace to her.
Only after Saul had completely become a round cocoon did she step back beneath it and gently push upward with her hand. The white cocoon began rising continuously like a hot air balloon on an airship.
As the cocoon rose, the fate lines connecting Saul to the sea below were pulled out like drawing silk.
The fate lines that others had been unable to touch no matter what were now effortlessly pulled from the deep sea.
The cocoon wrapping Saul seemed to rise slowly but actually disappeared into the clouds in the blink of an eye. Even at this point, the fate lines connecting Saul and the sea hadn’t been completely drawn out.
This process lasted a day and night, and the wizards also waited on the sea for a day and night. No one left midway.
For most people, this was probably the only time in their lives they would see fate lines.
“Twang—”
“Twang—”
The moment the last bit of fate line disappeared, Gorsa and Floco simultaneously heard the sound of strings snapping in their minds.
Gorsa watched helplessly as the white cocoon vanished, and his fate lines connected to Saul also broke at the last moment.
Now he had completely lost contact with Saul.
Gorsa slowly lowered his head and stared at Pei’er. “The Symphony of Fate has been severed. Will Saul be affected?”
Though they couldn’t contact Saul, the connections between other Symphony of Fate targets remained. They were still an offensive and defensive alliance and could assist each other.
But Saul had already separated from the Symphony of Fate’s score, and they could no longer transmit destiny power to Saul.
“He just observed the demise of fifth and sixth-ranks and gained knowledge beyond his understanding range.” Pei’er still spoke lightly. “I’m sending him to tour countless worlds. With broader experience, he can improve his comprehension ability.”
With this move, Pei’er had directly sent him out of the wizard world!
And looking at Pei’er’s expression, it seemed incredibly easy, just a simple gesture.
Could wizards staying beside Death Demons all grow this quickly?
Gorsa couldn’t help but flash a trace of suspicion in his eyes.
“Boom—”
“Boom—”
“Boom—”
Before Gorsa could question further, the sea beneath everyone’s feet suddenly issued three thunderous roars!
For a moment the earth shook and mountains swayed. The sea surface underwent obvious deformation, as if squeezed by something then instantly exploding.
This wasn’t a simple eruption. Chaotic and disordered fluctuations swept through every corner of this sea area along with the exploding seawater.
After this intense fluctuation swept through, the magical particles in space were instantly cleared, and the entire explosion area immediately became a magic-free zone!
Large amounts of seawater were thrust into the sky, with the highest waves even licking the lowest dark clouds in the sky.
The sky canopy seemed to collapse, tilting down in the middle and almost covering the sea surface.
Ordinary wizards simply couldn’t continue floating in the air under such natural might. Losing magical support and unable to resist the explosive fluctuations with their own magic power, they lost balance and were directly swept into the sea by the waves.
Only fourth-rank wizards and a few powerful third-ranks could barely maintain flight.
Among them, Pei’er was the least affected person. When the waves struck her body, they passed straight through as if no one was standing there.
She looked down at the constantly oscillating sea, still smiling at the corners of her mouth, as if watching an interesting toy.
Gradually, the seawater returned to calm. The elemental particles that had just been squeezed away returned to this sea area under external pressure.
The wizards who had been swept into the sea also emerged from the water one by one in disheveled states.
Among these wizards, a huge transparent barrier suddenly emerged. Some wizards were even directly pushed high into the air.
“What is this?” Frim immediately rose into the air, asking in shock and uncertainty.
He feared it was the Abyssal Eye or Douglas breaking out.
But the sharp-eyed Gorsa saw the black desert beneath the barrier. “Chaos Realm?!”
Pei’er had just said that both the Abyssal Eye and Douglas had perished, but only when people saw the continent that had been swallowed by the Abyssal Eye a hundred years ago reappearing in this world did they more clearly recognize that the Abyssal Eye had truly disappeared.
Would the former anchor point monsters, Camus, and other things also appear on the sea?
“Will there be a corpse after the Abyssal Eye’s death? Could it cause pollution?” Someone worried and discussed.
But apart from the Chaos Realm, nothing else emerged from the sea.
It seemed that for sixth-ranks, perishing meant complete disappearance, and those carriers that could bear their consciousness would also turn to ash.
“What about Douglas?” Gorsa’s mental power swept across the entire sea area but found nothing.
Pei’er still looked at the sea surface directly below, saying softly, “I’m watching him.”
