"Well, it is better to have these hidden quests than not having them at all," Rean shrugged.
Roan connected his mind to the system’s upgrade list. "228 Orb Points... that’s how many we have now with the bonus."
Everyone looked at him, immediately realizing what he was thinking about.
"So we are buying that, huh?"
Roan nodded before pulling up the option from the list.
[Yin Yang Sanctuary - Level Two Time Upgrade - 50 Orb Points.]
They had deliberately avoided spending any Orb Points before because the cultivation technique took priority. Looking back, it had definitely been the correct decision. Before breaking through, they only had 153 Orb Points, and once Sister Orb finished upgrading their cultivation technique, only 28 remained. Had they bought this upgrade beforehand, there wouldn’t have been enough points to complete the technique at all.
Now, however, the situation was completely different. They had breathing room again, and this upgrade was something they had wanted for quite a while.
Roan glanced at Rean, who immediately understood. The two focused their minds on the option together.

"Yes!"
A familiar sensation spread through their souls. More accurately, it wasn’t their souls themselves, but the soul connection linking the four of them together with Sister Orb since their days back in the Vinx Great Void. They could clearly feel the Echo resonating with the Orb System as the upgrade took place.
The process only lasted a few seconds before Sister Orb’s cheerful voice echoed through their minds.
[Upgrade Concluded.]
"Good," Roan nodded, clearly satisfied.
"Instead of only one minute, now it will last two!" Rean exclaimed. Just thinking about having twice as much time inside the Yin Yang Sanctuary made him excited.
[Just don’t forget that the cooldown remains 24 hours,] Sister Orb reminded them. [Of course, if an emergency arises, you can still spend 20 Orb Points to remove the cooldown immediately.]
Roan’s attention then shifted toward the remaining Orb Points.
"178..." he murmured while thinking for a moment. "Let’s save them for now. The Zone God cultivation technique will almost certainly require far more Orb Points than this one, even if I work on an earlier version first."
"We could increase the Soul Connection Range instead," Rean suggested. "Maybe it would be worth it?"
Roan shook his head.
"I don’t think so. Level One already gives us a range of one thousand kilometers. At our current cultivation level, that’s far beyond anything we realistically need. Unless we’re separated by a long distance, increasing it now would simply be a waste."
"Fair enough." Rean didn’t insist.
Celis spoke from there. "So, are we done here? If we are, then we should get back to cultivation."
"Not yet," Roan refused. "Even if it’s only 25%, we can now manipulate Godly Energy outside our bodies. That finally allows me to refine several cultivation pills I couldn’t make before."
He took out several pills and tossed one to each of them.
"Take these first. They’ll stabilize our cultivation after the breakthrough. It shouldn’t take more than two weeks. Once that’s done, we can resume cultivating."
Celis wasn’t particularly happy about delaying cultivation again, but two weeks really wasn’t much. "Fine." Then he looked at the pills in his hand before asking, "What kind of pills are you planning to make afterward?"
"Mostly Energy Circulation Pills and Energy Absorption Pills," Roan explained. "Those should significantly increase how quickly we absorb Godly Energy. It would be good to have some Energy Consolidation Pills as well, but the herbs and other items necessary for those will be a lot more expensive."
He paused for a brief moment before continuing.
"I also want to develop pills that improve our conversion of Celestial Energy and Godly Pressure into usable Godly Energy. Should be helpful in battles outside the Besgol Region’s Sacred Relic Influence."
Celis nodded thoughtfully. "Will you need my help?"
"Yes," Roan answered without hesitation. "I need to examine your constitution again now that we’ve reached the Aura God Realm. Your physique differs enough from ours that I can’t simply adapt my own pills to suit you on the fly. I’ll have you control the flames and the cauldron’s energy while refining your batch. As for Rean and Kentucky, our elemental affinities are the same, so I won’t need any assistance from them."
With that settled, Roan turned toward the exit.
"I’m heading to the Alchemists Guild first. Time to take the Level Two Alchemist examination. Becoming a Level Two Alchemist will also increase my purchasing authority and give 10% discount on herbs."
Rean immediately raised a thumbs-up. "As the one responsible for our finances, I fully approve that decision!"
Roan gave a slight nod before leaving the residence without another word.
Kentucky watched him disappear before realizing something.
"Ahem..." He glanced around innocently. "Well... looks like I’m free for the next two weeks. See you all later!"
Before anyone could stop him, Kentucky beat his wings and shot out of the residence like an arrow.
Even if someone had tried to stop him, everyone knew he probably would have ignored them anyway.
Celis returned to his humanoid form, shaking his head helplessly.
"Whatever." Since cultivation was temporarily on hold, he immediately began thinking about what to do next. "If we really have two weeks..."
His eyes suddenly brightened. "Oh! I know exactly where I’m going." Without wasting another second, he also left the residence. "I’m taking a few Godly Subjugation Guild missions outside the Besgol Region, and what better place than the Farm? Hahaha!"
Only Rean remained in the residence in the end.
He looked around the suddenly quiet estate before rubbing his chin.
"Hmm..."
A grin slowly spread across his face.

Their residence was quite large and, more importantly, completely isolated. Several arrays surrounded the estate, preventing Celestial Senses or other surveillance methods from peering inside. It was the perfect workshop.
Walking into the open courtyard, Rean waved his hand.
His airplane immediately appeared.
He lovingly patted its metallic body. "Now then... I can finally work on my baby without needing anyone else’s help."

Roan, meanwhile, headed toward the Alchemists Guild at an unhurried pace. Since he wasn’t in a rush, he decided to contact Tobao and Arcis along the way.
—Roan? Is something wrong?— Tobao asked as soon as the connection formed.
Roan went straight to the point.
’The four of us successfully broke through. We’re Aura Gods now.’
Both Tobao and Arcis were surprised, though not completely shocked.
—Even if you have no measurable aptitude, with the amount of Godly Predator Crystals you possess, it was only a matter of time,— Arcis commented. —Still... that was incredibly damn fast. Your foundations weren’t damaged, were they?—
’They’re perfectly stable,’ Roan confirmed.
Naturally, he didn’t mention that they still hadn’t used a single Godly Predator Crystal.
His answer only confused the two Law Gods even more.
—Then why contact us?— Arcis asked. —Surely you didn’t call just to tell us you broke through?—
Before Roan could answer, Tobao gently shook his head.
—Amithaba... considering your personality, you would never waste our time with something so simple.—
Arcis’ expression immediately changed.
A feeling of unease rose in his heart.
—Please... don’t tell me you four discovered another plot to destroy the Besgol Region...—
Roan’s mouth twitched.
What were they? The four walking disasters?
[More like the Four Knights of the Apocalypse,] Sister Orb added out of nowhere.
Roan stopped walking for a brief moment.

When he thought about everything that had happened since they arrived in the Celestial Plane, that description wasn’t entirely wrong.
Between the Destiny Attraction ability and Sister Orb’s absurd quests, trouble really did seem to follow them wherever they went.
Roan silently murmured his conclusion.
’Yes... this is totally Sister Orb’s fault.’
