Death… And Me

Chapter 4226: Bored

Chapter 4226: Bored

The years went by, and eventually, Rean brought Tuana back to Lisan, now as a Celestial Realm Initial Stage expert.

Tuana hasn’t just broken through, though. She achieved that a year ago. As soon as she did, she left the Great Void Black Hole and traveled around, trying to find out where she really was. Too bad, though. She simply couldn’t get any clues about her location.

Rean came to look for her after that, and he wasn’t surprised that Tuana went around on her own. He said he was going to come back after her breakthrough, but he didn’t say when. Well, you could say he almost forgot the woman, to be honest.

Tuana once again asked where they were, but he didn’t answer. He simply said he had a few connections and used them to let her use that Great Void Black Hole.

The truth was that the Great Void Black Hole she used was close to the center of the Great Void, the same area that no one could enter. Naturally, it was empty, and Tuana was free to have her breakthrough however she felt like.

Now back in Lisan, Rean announced to everyone his intentions, much to the displeasure of everyone. The Vruves were such a big risk to their Universe, and the twins’ group wanted to put their leader as the main representative and protector of Lisan.

Rean explained to them that he had made sure Tuana could not betray the Universe, but it wasn’t like everyone simply believed that. He didn’t mind, though. Tuana would receive the twins’ support, but the rest would be up to herself.

As for her cultivation, Rean naturally arranged it so that Tuana wouldn’t be kicked out of Lisan due to that. He didn’t have to make any new equipment or use Hick’s boundaries. Now that he could control The Echo, he simply had to use it to manipulate the Universe’s laws so it would allow Tuana to stay there with her full power unlocked.

Tuana didn’t know how Rean did that, but she guessed it had something to do with the fact that Lisan already had four Universe Owners. That alone was already an anomaly, so it made sense she thought that. And since Rean refused to explain, she took that as a confirmation.

"So, it is up to you to gain everyone’s trust or whatever. I will keep a look at everything with Roan, Kentucky, and Celis, but you are going to be the head of all things related to the Universe as a whole, especially when it comes to relations with other Universes. Do you understand?" Rean asked Tuana.

Tuana simply nodded. "That’s what I signed for. However, do not forget your part of the deal. I also want to go to the Celestial Plane one day, so when the time comes, I will ask for your help. Consider all the years I will spend in Lisan, keeping it protected, developing it, as the payment for that. When the time comes, I also want you to break this link between the Chaos Origin Source of Lisan and me."

"That’s not a problem," Rean accepted. "Alright, I’ve been taking care of all the shit so far, so now it’s your turn. I’m going on a holiday here in Lisan, so don’t call me unless it is extremely important. As to how you will gain everyone’s trust or whatever, that’s your problem."

Rean didn’t even wait for Tuana to say anything else, disappearing from her sight.

Tuana had an interesting expression. She couldn’t tell if Rean was too lax or if it was the opposite. Nonetheless, it is a fact that she gained a lot from this deal already. Just that Great Void Black Hole and the many years to keep trying and failing her breakthrough without any hurry already paid for it. Even as the Princess of Turmaloid, she wouldn’t get such service in the Great Void Black Hole that her home used.

---

Slowly, the Lisan Universe began to get forgotten, although the top powers who knew about the twins’ group always kept some of their spies there. The twins’ group refused to receive anyone, and it was always Tuana or someone related to her who took that kind of job.

Still, being forgotten is one thing. Lisan definitely wasn’t getting weaker. If anything, it was getting stronger by the day, and Tuana contributed greatly to it.

In the first tens of thousands of years that followed, Lisan acquired another seven Celestial Realm Experts. Lisan had one big advantage that no other Universe had. Every time one of its experts found their rogue Celestial Laws, they returned to Lisan, and someone from the twins’ group brought them to the Great Void Black Hole so they could have all the time they needed for their breakthroughs.

However, Tuana was still the only Celestial other than the twins’ group who could live inside without having to hide her cultivation. All the others were forced to make a new residence outside Lisan, although they kept themselves close to it due to the advantages they had there. Also, obviously, to protect it if necessary.

Kafan, Black Locust, Dalquiel, Huban, Toval, and Xude, those were the Semi-Celestials who reached the Celestial Realm. That was only the first batch, on top of that.

Well, truth be told, Kafan could enter Lisan without being blocked by his cultivation since he was Roan’s master, but Kafan decided to stay just outside to not attract any attention.

The Werdlem Empire eventually stabilized as well. They had to reopen negotiations with the various other powers with their Bubble gone, but you could say they simply returned to the same status they had before the Primordial Demon Beasts’ capture. For all intents and purposes, they were still the top power of the Great Void, even now.

As for the Primordial Demon Beasts, they eventually left Lisan as well. Other than Default, they didn’t know it, but the twins’ group always had an eye on them, just in case. The twins’ group got to meet several more of the other Primordial Beasts, those who weren’t part of the Twelve Pillars. It became widely known that Lisan had the full support of the beasts, so it was another layer of protection for them.

During this time, Roan’s disciples came back from other Universes, pausing their search for rouge Celestial Laws just to see their master... Which Roan reprimanded them like there was no tomorrow. If they had time to come and pay meaningless visits to him, they might as well keep looking for their laws. He gave them an ultimatum, and they should not come back until they found those laws. As to how long that would take, who knows? It could literally be millions of years until that happened.

In any case, for the Lisan Universe and the twins’ group, they truly reached a kind of ultimate peace, where they could live leisurely forever. Nothing could affect them anymore. Nothing could threaten them. They all could live happily ever after, and so they did!

...

...

...

Well...

This should have been the end...

...but they eventually grew bored!
