Chapter 4215: It Could
Chapter 4215: It Could
[You truly don’t know what is good for you, do you?] Sister Orb couldn’t help but complain.
Rean shrugged, still finding it not the best idea. "We are already staying in Lisan for who knows how long. So there won’t be much of a difference if you stayed in our Dimensional Realm. In fact, you would have a lot more freedom if you had just reintegrated yourself with the Universe Foundation. You won’t be seeing anything new anytime soon, you know?"
[I’m aware,] Sister Orb said. [But compared to all the time I spent as a sentience of a Universe, the time you guys will stay here isn’t even worth mentioning.]
Rean gave up after hearing that. "Well... up to you. I have no intention to leave, though. Don’t blame me if you end up watching our asses for the next ten billion years."
Rean turned around, preparing to leave. "Alright, I guess we are done here. I have other things to do, so if you don’t have anything else to say, I’m out."
[Aren’t we supposed to meet the others to talk about what will happen to everyone else?]
Rean knew that. "That can wait a little bit. I’m just worried about something, and I shall be back soon. I’ll tell you what. Soul Gem, you guys go and gather everyone. I’ll join you all through the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm later."
However, before Rean could leave...
*Pin!*
[Repurposing missed points... Concluded.]
[Now, that’s what I’m talking about!]
Rean stopped, as he and Roan heard the same thing.
Roan looked at the orb, who seemed quite pleased with herself. "Could it be..."
[You are connected to me, so you don’t really need to touch me anymore to check the system options. Just focus your will on me and on the things you want.]
The twins tried straight away.
[Orb Points: 440]
"Orb... points?"
Default smiled with Soul Gem. "Hehe! You had a lot of Celestial Points remaining, didn’t you? Well, most of it was lost with the destruction of the Control Orb, but a little bit of it still remained. We made it so those points would be replaced by the points used by Sister Orb’s System instead."
The twins were obviously curious. They changed their focus, now wishing for the upgrade list to be shown in their minds.
[...]
Yet, there was nothing there. "It’s empty?"
[I’m a new system, okay? I don’t have any options available yet. Don’t forget that at first, I’m also an inferior version that doesn’t use a real Universe Root Egg.]
Rean looked at Roan. "When I think she can’t be any more useless, she still surprises me."
Roan nodded slightly. "It is our fault to expect anything from her to start with. It is about time we learn our lesson."
[Why don’t you go fuck yourselves? Uh? Hmph! Just you wait! Your beloved Orb System will show what she can do... some other time.]
"Whatever." Roan also got ready to leave. "Soul Gem, I’ll call everyone else for a meeting then."
Soul Gem was waiting for that, too. "Very well. I’ll call those from my side."
"And I’ll see you later," Rean repeated, this time leaving for real.

Planet Earth, underground facility. Back then, the twins came to Earth, and they found some clues related to Romario, Rean’s Father, here. They eventually left after Rean hid this place with a concealing formation.
Earth has evolved a lot since then. It has been who knows how many thousands of years since the twins left. That also means it has been the same amount of time since Earth began to experience the existence of cultivation energies.
There was a problem, though. The humans and all the beings there evolved in a world where cultivation energies didn’t exist, so it wasn’t like they could cultivate straight away. For the first hundreds of years, the humans there didn’t even know what to do with that new type of energy. In Earth’s case, it was the Spiritual Energy that was present since it was still located in the Mortal Realm.
Eventually, they were contacted by the cultivators from outside. Since that was Rean’s previous home, Qia and Calina made sure it was well taken care of. Everyone there was taught about the real world outside and all the wonders. Above all, they were told how one of them, a cultivator who reincarnated in the cultivation world, used the knowledge of their world to create the first communication system of their universe.
It goes without saying that the people there, most of them at least, felt it to be kinda unfair that they couldn’t cultivate and such. There were a few methods for creating pseudo-dantians and meridians that could be used for cultivation, but they had limits.
However, what was this planet good for? Technology! Using those pseudo-dantians and their own ingenuity, Earth ended up creating pseudo-dantians that were pretty much as good as the real ones. Then came the genetic manipulation for the creation of meridians to make the proper use of those dantians.
Now, the humans of Earth have all become cultivators of a new class, a self-made class. That wasn’t all. With the presence of Spiritual Energy, they evolved by themselves, too. So, their bodies also naturally adapted over the generations. Saying that humans from Earth are as good as any humans from the Realm of Gods wasn’t wrong at all. Both had similar prospects, and due to Earth’s special status, it sure received a lot of support from outside.
Rean arrived on Earth, and checking it with his Divine Sense, he had to admit he was surprised. "That’s quite the change..."
Nonetheless, he didn’t come here to see that. Instead, he was simply relieved that the underground facility that he hid with a formation all those years ago was still intact.
Inside the facility, he looked at a big robot that had fallen against a wall. That thing was quite dangerous, and that’s what he wanted to take care of at the moment. "Hum?"
Yet, when Rean looked inside, he soon found out its volatile core was taken away. "I knew I should have asked Dad. So he did come back to retrieve it."
Rean took his CD out, contacting Romario. Naturally, in the past week, Rean visited his other family members. Romario was already a Divinity Realm cultivator, so he had a limitless lifespan. As for his mother, she passed away, but from what he heard, she had quite a happy life with his father after Rean’s disappearance.
Romario answered the call a moment later. "You don’t need to tell me. Soul Gem told me to meet you guys already."
Rean shook his head. "Not that. Dad, did you take the core of the robot you left in the underground facility back on Earth?"
Romario’s expression suddenly changed. "Shit! I completely forgot that thing!"
Rean’s mouth twitched. "Well, I’m here, and it is gone."
"What?!" Romario was taken aback. "That is crazy! That core was too volatile! It could literally destroy Earth!"
