Chapter 4199: A Gap
Chapter 4199: A Gap
No one noticed, but the Light and Dark Elements in Kentucky’s body circulated in a specific pattern as he defended the Natural Formation. However, there was pretty much nothing for him to do. That’s because the various battles around began to get away from the Natural Formation, although the clashes’ aftermaths could still get there and needed to be blocked.
Why did Kentucky’s Light and Dark Elements circulate differently? That’s because he wasn’t using it to protect the Natural Formation and the hidden area below that mountain range. Well, he was, but not all of it. A small part was used to create a clone of himself!
’Mirage Assault!’
No one was the wiser as Kentucky’s real body got away from the area, leaving only his close to defend the position. At Kentucky’s level, a close of elements like that didn’t have even half of his strength. Nonetheless, it was more than enough for that role. Kentucky only had to control it with his Divine Sense, and that was fine.
As for his real body? It quickly entered the hidden area, where he met Ploto-Ume, Ratria-Key, and Frife-Ni. Let’s not forget Frife-Ni was his brother.
"Kentucky, you are here!" Ratria-Ket said as she sighed in relief.
"Mother, how’s everything?" Kentucky quickly asked. The battle outside would only continue to escalate, so they couldn’t waste time there.
Ratria nodded, pointing to the space below. There, Kentucky saw the remaining Primordial Demon Beasts. None of them was moving, nor doing anything at all. They were all in a trance, being kept in that state by the formation of the Werdlem Empire. The only reason their Primordial Laws and Essences haven’t been completely stolen yet was that such a thing could only happen if done to all twelve Primordial Demon Beasts at once. Nonetheless, that was enough to keep them still.
Kentucky came down and checked on them. "Alright, this is enough. Father, what about the-"
Before Kentucky could finish his words, Ploto-Ume cut in. "Everything is ready. However..."
"Yes," Kentucky understood. "We will deal with it right now."
At that moment, someone else came out of the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm.
---
A few minutes later, far, far from F974, in the middle of the Great Void, there was one of the few still existing Abyssal Paths in the Werdlem Empire. This one had just been created recently, and inside, one could find the Primordial Demon Beasts that the twins’ group had left behind.
Just outside, Celis stood still, being concealed by a formation Rean had built in this area before they left. Celis couldn’t stay inside the Abyssal Path, or Room, because it truly separated one from the Great Void. That said, Celis couldn’t feel the twins’ presence or the presence of the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm.
That was obvious. Otherwise, Default and the others wouldn’t have been saved from the Werdlem Empire’s intervention. Only Norogal stayed inside with them, keeping that room safe for habitation. Still, he kept the Abyssal Tunnel open, allowing Celis to see him inside and talk to him if necessary.
Suddenly, Celis’s eyes opened, and he turned to Norogal. "Tell Default to come out."
Default received the words and immediately came out of the Abyssal Path. Sure enough, he once again felt the pull on his Essence and Primorial Laws. *Ugh...*
"Can you hold it?" Celis asked with a serious expression.
"Y-Yes..." Default confirmed. "I’m, ge-getting used to it. I can hold for a while."
"That’s enough." Celis immediately entered the Abyssal Room after that.
The other Primordial Demon Beasts inside looked at him, and he nodded at them. "Time to go."
Hick and the others were nervous, but they all moved outside the Abyssal Path, followed by Norogal and Celis. The Abyssal Room immediately collapsed behind, as it was only a temporary measure Norogal put in place.
Celis touched them and sent all the Abyssal Beasts into the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm.
Back in the Werdlem Empire’s hidden facility, near the tear on space where one could interact with The Echo, Grotou noticed the change. "Default and the others appeared again!"
Kafuna used her terminal in a hurry. "Yes, we have a grasp on Eleven of the Twelve Primordial Demon Beasts. We almost have Default again, but he is still resisting."
Grotou took his CD out, contacting Soza in F974. "Sir, we found the remaining Primordial Beasts."
Soza, who was fighting Roan, used his Divine Sense to talk on his CD. -Where are they?!-
Grotou already knew how to pinpoint their location, so the answer came out in a matter of seconds. "They are actually pretty close to our Werdlem Universe."
-Werdlem Universe?- Soza got confused. -I thought they were brought to F974 as well.-
"There is no doubt, sir," Grotou assured. "They are definitely in the Great Void, not too far from the Werdlem Universe. Shall I send our experts to the area?"
-Obviously! Keep me posted. If they came out now, they must be intending to do something.-
"Unders-" yet, before Grotou could even finish his words, his eyes opened wide! "Wait! They disappeared!"
Soza had almost ended the call when he heard that. -Disappeared? Have they gone into hiding again?-
"No," Grotou shook his head. "We still have a grasp of everyone except Default. Ah! They moved!"
-Where?- Soza had a bad feeling about this.
"T-This... they are close to you! They just appeared in F974, in the same place where the battle is going on!"
Grotou couldn’t believe that. How did they move such a gigantic distance in a single instant? Even Abyssal Paths couldn’t do such a thing. When crossing the Great Void to go from one universe to another, it still took a few hours with Abyssal Paths. Maybe days, if it were a really faraway Universe. Yet, Default’s group crossed that distance in a second!
-That’s ridiculous!- Soza obviously knew that. -Are you sure everything is working correctly?!-
"Y-Yes!" Grotou confirmed. "Ah!"
But then, he saw the same thing happen again. "They disappeared once more! No, it’s even worse! We have lost the grasp on all twelve Primordial Demon Beasts now!"
-Fuck!- Soza was going crazy. One unbelievable thing after another was happening nonstop there.
