Chapter 4176: Stop Them!
Chapter 4176: Stop Them!
Roan heard about the hidden paths, but he wouldn’t just jump into that plan like that. "First, we need to know more. Abyssal Beasts are rare, from what I’ve heard. Even if you have these hidden paths leading into your home, are you telling me the area isn’t being watched closely?"
"It is watched closely," Mamato didn’t lie. "Why do you think we were only able to create six paths after all these years? It’s just that we never had the chance of using them. When a new Abyssal Beast is born, it already receives the soul seal."
He continued. "Besides, the Werdlem Empire controls all the cultivation energies of the world. Even if we ignored the seal and tried to run, once our energies were cut off, we would be simply condemned. We have been preparing for a chance."
"Aren’t you trusting us way too much?" Kentucky asked. "What if we are actually with the Werdlem Empire?"
"You are not," Mamato said as he looked at Aby. "Even if you are just a soul, the Werdlem Empire would never let you roam free like this. All the Abyssal Beasts know each other, and I definitely don’t know you. You can’t possibly be with the Werdlem Empire."
Aby shrugged. "Well, that’s true. But that doesn’t change the fact that you were taking too much of a risk for telling us about those things."
"Maybe," Mamato nodded. "But this is by far the best opportunity I’ve ever heard about. We never had a chance to try anything. Besides, even if we are found out, we will be punished, but we won’t be wiped out. The Werdlem Empire needs us. They need our Abyssal Paths."
"Very well." Roan was already thinking about the next steps. "Turns out we can help your race while we are also going through with our own plan. In fact, once we act, that will definitely be the best opportunity to take your race out as well. However, let me make things clear. There is no way we can get everyone. The time will be limited. You know us, but the rest of your race doesn’t. Even if we were to appear there and say we want to take them away, would they listen to us? Listen to a bunch of guys they had never seen before?"
Sure enough, Roan thought of all possibilities. It would be meaningless to try to rescue the Abyssal Beasts if they didn’t trust them. "I might as well tell you this. Once we try to rescue your race in your home, we will need them all to come into our pocket-dimensional realm, no questions asked. Would they do that? Wouldn’t they simply think we want to slave them instead? After all, once inside someone’s Pocket Dimensional Realm, you are completely powerless to do anything."
Mamato faintly smiled. "How long do you think we have been thinking about running away? Whatever scenario you can think of, we probably thought of it as well. We know that we might have to act fast, so we prepared a measure for that."
"As for the fact that we have to enter your pocket dimensional realm, there is no helping that. We are already slaves, so we would simply change from being slaves of the Werdlem Empire to being yours. Of course, there is a chance you really honor your side of the deal, so it is worth the bet. We have never had the chance to even bet until now."
Roan had to commend them for thinking that far. "You seem really ready for anything. Very well, how do we make them follow our orders once we get to the Abyssal Beasts’ Home?"
---
BH1 had never been so lively before. Almost all the Celestials of the Werdlem Universe were there now, with only a handful being left back in the Werdlem Imperial Dimensional Realm and outside it.
Soza was also there in BH1, and an entire palace was brought, where Soza continued his duties while he waited.
"So they ambushed one of our groups, uh?" Soza reviewed the reports on the twisn’ group’s most recent attack. "How did they appear there? How did they find that group? Also, why that group in particular? We have many others watching several Abyssal Paths."
On his side, a man with long hair and sharp eyes looked at the same report. "Soza, we had to come down to deal with your problems, and the guys up there aren’t very happy. Caladara even lost her life here. Have you still not found how they are using the cultivation energies inside the empire?"
Soza looked at the man. "Nicholas, don’t act all mighty with me. I know very well how ridiculous it all sounds. If I knew how they were doing that, I would have cut their access to the cultivation energies a long time ago. The only thing I’m certain of is that they have no need for Werdlem Stones. If they had, we would have captured them already."
"You two never change," someone else, a woman, spoke with a calm expression. "However they are doing it, it doesn’t matter. They seem adamant on freeing the Primordial Beasts, but Default’s prison is not something that just anyone can break through. Also, we have sealed the entire BH1. No one other than us can get inside to start with. Once they appear, which they will, we can deal with them."
Soza narrowed his eyes. They were that confident before as well. Yet, they have failed time and time again. "Rafina, don’t be so certain of it." Still, he shook his head and looked at the reports once again.
Yet, a moment later, his CD received a call.
-Senior Soza, they appeared again! They are here in BH1!!!-
"What?!" Soza and the other two were taken aback. The twins’ group came to BH1 just like that? Head-on? "Let’s go!"
Soza, Latifi, and Rafina immediately left the palace, their Divine Senses spreading far and wide. Their Divine Senses easily covered the entire area of the Great Void Black Hole. Then, they saw it.
Rean and Roan were side by side, and in between them, a black and white box. They seemed to be charging it with their energies. As for what they planned to do, no one knows. "Stop them!"
