Death… And Me

Chapter 4151: Erwora

Chapter 4151: Erwora

The entire thing so far was about invading the Werdlem Universe again. However, it would be easier said than done. Any Abyssal Path leading to the Werdlem Universe would be under constant vigilance. Not to mention, all these paths connected to the same place in the Werdlem Universe, so using them was pretty much suicide.

That’s when the idea of stealing a Great Void Spaceship came about. The Werdlem Universe was also protected by Universal Formations, which was to be expected from a Universe with such importance. That means, when the twins’ group tried to enter it from outside, they would still be detected, if they could enter at all.

The twins’ group was willing to use that method anyway. All they needed was to get inside, then use their own Spatial Gates to leave the area. So what if the Werdlem Empire found out that they had entered the Werdlem Universe? As long as they couldn’t be tracked, it wouldn’t be an issue.

But then came the thought. What if the Werdlem Empire didn’t know they got back? Soltrex used Siter Orb and worked on his probabilities to try to pinpoint an area where a Great Void Ship would appear, a ship that would have to go back to the Werdlem Universe.

Truth be told, Soltrex missed a few times. As good as he could be, even as the previous Pillar of Wisdom, pinpointing such a random event out in the Great Void was just too complicated.

Nonetheless, all they had to do was keep trying, and sure enough, Rean finally arrived in a place where such a Great Void Spaceship appeared.

As the Great Void Ship prepared to make the next jump, no one noticed that a tiny bit of its fuselage was pried open. Sister Orb used the system to take control over the surrounding detection circuitry formations, making it look like nothing happened.

With Rean there, opening the fuselage and closing it only took a few seconds. The combination of the system’s formation hacking and Rean’s blacksmith and formation ability was just perfect for this. "Well then..."

---

At the lower decks, in the area responsible for some of the circuitry formations that controlled one of the many Great Void Thrusters...

"What do you mean by two hundred stones?" Kuroy asked the woman in front of him. "The price was just a hundred and fifty last year! That’s ridiculous, Erwora!"

The woman in front, Erwora, shrugged. "That’s how the market works, you know? Last year, it was one hundred and fifty. Today, it is two hundred. We are going to A1 to deliver the containers, and then we are going back. However, it will take at least five years to make our way back, and you know that. Demand for Bee Frozen Wine has kinda skyrocketed over the past three months. I should actually charge you more, but since you are a regular who buys every year, I’m giving you a discount. So, two hundred it is."

The Bee Frozen Wine was a specialty from Erwora’s continent in the Divine Realm of the Werdlem Universe. It wasn’t anything that rare, though. As long as you had the Divine Stones, you could buy as much as you wanted.

It’s just that the Great Void Spaceships don’t work like the Abyssal paths and Great Void Shifters. They take years to move from one universe to another. Erwora was already used to it and knew she could make a good profit every single time. After all, who would spend so much on wine before departure?

It was only after spending years travelling and working on the ship’s systems and mechanics every day that new recruits understood they needed a distraction. That’s when Erwora came out with his Bee Frozen Wine.

She always started with a low price, and that helped her wine grow popular among those bored with all the work required to keep this enormous Great Void Ship and the containers attached to it running. By the time they started to get close to their destination, this special wine, which could only be produced in her continent, became a must in everyone’s day.

It wasn’t really an addiction. The wine was sold legally alongside many other items on the ship, as it had thousands of workers. It’s just that it was truly good, so those who grew used to it would rather not have to drink other beverages. If they didn’t drink this wine, they wouldn’t suffer any side effects.

Last but not least, even if you get to your destination, you can’t get off the ship. The immigration laws of the Werdlem Empire were made to prevent any mishaps during these deliveries. You had to wait to go back to the Werdlem Universe before stepping out again.

"Fuck!" Kuroy took out Four Thousand Divine Stones, passing them to Erwora. "Give me twenty bottles! I don’t want to wait for the price to go up again!"

Erwora happily took out the bottles. "Thank you for your patronage!"

-Great Void Jump will start in five minutes.-

A voice echoed all over the ship, making Kuroy turn back in a hurry. "Shit, I wasted too long here. We only had fifteen minutes. I’m off."

Erwora didn’t mind, turning around and moving back to her post. The wine selling was just a side hustle of hers (that paid more than the trip itself). Her real job was also in the Great Void Thrusters’ area, handling some of the countless cooling systems there.

She made her way to her room, waved to a few other cultivators who worked with her there, and sat on her chair... or so it was supposed to have happened.

*Zup!*

The door to the room was open, and Erwora entered in a hurry, catching her friend’s attention. "Erwora, selling your wine is fine and all, but you can’t take too long. Quick, go to your post."

Erwora nodded apologetically. "Yes, yes. Sorry, Gufa. It’s just that the last guy complained a lot about the price increase. Anyway, I’m going."

Gufa nodded and focused back on her task. Yet, little did she notice, but that woman wasn’t Erwora.

’Erwora’ looked at the control panels in front, bitterly smiling. ’It’s been a while since I changed my appearance to look like a woman. It truly doesn’t feel right...’

Sure enough, that was Rean. As for the real Erwora, she was now sleeping in the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm. It would take a few years until she was awakened again. Rean would simply leave her in some corner once he gets back to the Werdlem Empire.
