Chapter 4082: More Friends
Chapter 4082: More Friends
Rean smiled, turned around and shrugged. "Hehe! Then we just got ahead in time. They don’t have a Sister Orb to get through. Let’s go take our 34000 points."
*Bzzzz!*
Suddenly, the formation began to react, and Rean quickly looked back. There, he saw Gin pouring some of his own blood onto the formation. Even more surprisingly, the formation began to open for him!
Everyone looked back at Rean. "You and your fucking big mouth!"
Rean wanted to cry. "Fuck you! He was going to do that anyway!"
For some reason, the others wondered if that would truly happen.
[What are all of you waiting for?! His blood obviously has something capable of opening the formation! Get out of there! You saw them using Celestial Energy, so they are at least Semi-Celestials!]
Everyone jumped on Kentucky’s back, and he shot into the distance while Rean kept hiding them with his Light and Divine Sense Bending Skill. "Kentucky, as soon as we get far enough, open a Spatial Gate. We need to get to Hick’s body as soon as possible."
"Understood!" Kentucky didn’t hold back, only refraining from using his bloodline power. Time accelerated around him as space bent. A second was enough to cover thousands of kilometers.
Back at the formation, it only took Gin ten seconds for his blood to open the formation. "Sure enough, it responds to Werdlem Family members. As for whoever put it here, I will have to worry about it later." Then, his group also passed through the formation.
There was a difference, though. The sensorial formations that were used to warn about any breaches in the formation did activate this time.
---
Just outside of the Universe C44, two experts were standing still in the Great Void. They had been like that for millions of years already, and it was hard to tell if they were even awake. However, they suddenly opened their eyes, looking back at the formation behind them and narrowing their eyes.
*Zush, zush!*
Then, they appeared in front of the formation.
"Someone got inside." One of them, a man called Flogon, spoke.
"And it is from the inside," the demon beast, a Scarlet-Striped Divine Panther called Kroqui, added. "There is no way anyone can force their way through the formation from inside."
The two balance breakers, also Peak Stage Celestials, haven’t talked to each other for countless years. Yet, they acted as if they had seen each other yesterday.
Flogon continued. "That means a Werdlem Imperial Family member has arrived, but why haven’t we been told anything?"
Kroqui snorted. "Hmph! Since when do they care about us? They probably want nothing more than to forget we exist. They hate Balance Breakers, after all."
Of course, Kroqui didn’t just ignore it. "Still, this doesn’t make sense. Considering the thing inside, the Werdlem Empire wouldn’t have approached it from C44. They would have used the Great Void Shifter found inside the formation instead."
That formation worked like a big sphere. Half of it was inside C44, using the C44 Universe’s Energy to keep the entire formation working. The other half was outside, where Hick’s body was located. The body had to stay outside, as it was a Celestial Level body. Well, at least it was when it was taken away. After all those years, it was hard to tell if Hick’s body would still have the power of a Celestial.
Suddenly, a copy of Flogon appeared by his side. However, it did not have the power of a Celestial but that of a Peak Divinity instead. "Let’s use our avatars."
Kroqui nodded, and another Kroqui appeared. It also had the same power as Flogon’s avatar, a Peak Divinity that could use Celestial Energy.
Right after, the avatars disappeared inside the formation. Both Flogon and Kroqui had full access to it even though they were not part of the Werdlem Imperial Family.
---
Back inside, Kentucky made a cutting movement with his talons, trying to open a Spatial Gate. Rean, obviously, helped hide it with his Light and Divine Sense Bending skill.
*Bzt!*
Unfortunately, a spatial reaction sparked exactly where Kentucky tried to open the Spatial Gate. "What?!"
Everyone looked at that. "What happened?"
"There is something blocking the space in this place," Kentucky explained. "We can’t use Spatial Gates."
Roan looked back, and even though they were already tens of thousands of kilometers away from Gin’s group, he could feel that the reaction just now hadn’t passed unnoticed. "They know we are here."
Rean sighed. "How would they not know? The Spatial Reaction just now wasn’t exactly easy to hide." Then, he ordered. "No point waiting here. Kentucky, full speed ahead! Don’t let them get too close to us."
"On it!" Kentucky immediately shot into the distance, Rean still covering all traces of their presence.
*Zush, zush, zush, zush...*
Just like Kentucky took ten seconds to get there, so did Gin’s group. They did not hold back on the use of Celestial Energy available for them. Gin looked around, his Divine Sense not catching anything. Kentucky managed to open enough distance for Rean’s bending to work. "Just now..."
Salazar waved his hand, his Spatial Powers gathering before spreading around. "Someone tried to open a Spatial Gate here. There is no doubt."
"Havira?" Jary asked.
Gin narrowed his eyes. According to everything he heard from Toxa, the guy whom he tortured to find out about Havira, the Three-Legged Golden Crow shouldn’t be able to hide that well or flee from them that fast. Of course, Gin knew Havira had come here with some friends. "Just what kind of relation she could possibly have with the Werdlem Imperial Family? Could it be someone from the Family is helping her?"
"What do you mean?" Suvana asked.
"There was someone here, and if it was Havira, that means she also managed to get inside this formation. I used my Werdlem Imperial Family Blood to force the formation to open a passage for us. If she did the same thing, someone from the Werdlem Family had to be with her," Gin explained. "Just the blood isn’t enough. It has to be a real member using it directly."
Salazar was even more unwilling to continue now. "Should we force this issue? What do we do?"
Gin looked into the distance. He could judge the direction to the center of the formation with his Divine Sense alone. "Let’s go. We need to find her, or at least what this place is about. Otherwise, I will have spent four Celestial Supressors for nothing. I won’t even mention explaining why we were here."
