This was a huge discovery, as it implied a connection between the Nine Heavens and this world.

Some time later, Yuan removed his hand from the machine and said, "There are some interesting things for sale, but I do not have enough points to purchase the things I want."

"Well, the only way you can get more points is through matches."

"What about earning points from other players, like the fifty points I earned from Gu Kecheng? It would be much faster if I could keep earning them that way," Yuan said.

"There is a limit to how many points you can earn through custom matches, and that limit depends on your rank. At your current rank, you can only earn around one hundred points per year through that method. Also, the system can tell when people are exchanging points through custom matches, which is prohibited and punishable."

"Hm? What about that one guy who offered to pay me 500 points for my technique back there? How would he go about doing that?"

"It just means he’ll purchase the items in your stead using his own points. That’s how most people do it."

It didn’t take long before Yuan racked up a high Win Streak.

"Should I keep going and see how much I can improve my cultivation before the recruitment? I doubt many of those attending will be barely meeting the requirements, after all."

After taking a moment to rest, Yuan began his first match as a Warrior.

Unbeknownst to him, his high win streak had caused his matches to start being broadcast in the lobby for everyone to see.

Normally, the lobby displays only broadcast matches from Master Rank and above. However, on rare occasions—such as when someone with outstanding performance, like Yuan, appeared—they would cast a spotlight on them, regardless of their rank.

As a result, Yuan became one of the very few Novices whose matches were displayed for everyone to see.

"Hey... Isn’t that the guy who claimed to be on a 10-win streak not long ago?"

A few spectators remembered Yuan, recalling his match with Gu Kecheng.

"Heavens! He’s beating his opponents with seemingly zero effort! And what kind of movement technique is he using?!"

Those who were unfamiliar with Yuan were immediately captivated by his fighting style, especially his movement technique that allowed him to vanish and appear anywhere at will, almost as if he could teleport on demand.

Although most spectators present were unfamiliar with Yuan’s movement technique, a few immediately recognized it.

"Which Division does he belong to?!" The soldier immediately inquired.

’What?! That’s impossible! How’s he using a technique that’s only accessible to us?!’ The soldier cried inwardly after learning that Yuan was a mere civilian.

"Check again!" The soldier demanded, not willing to believe that a civilian could learn their technique. One of their most difficult to learn, to the boot.

"You can come back here to check yourself if you don’t believe me," said the worker while shaking his head. "He really doesn’t belong to the military, and there’s no way to hide that information."

The soldier gritted his teeth in frustration. After all, he knew better than anyone that it was impossible for a soldier to conceal their identity.

’Are you telling me that a civilian somehow gained access to Void Control and even mastered it to a level that most senior soldiers cannot achieve?!’ the soldier cried inwardly, the shock so overwhelming that his entire body went numb.
