1337 A Difficult Battle—Killing the Obelisk Scale Dragon Beast! (1)
It ran?
It looked majestic a short while before, as if able to swallow stars and the moon. But now, it was just fleeing for dear life.
Where did that overwhelming presence go?
Wang Teng couldn’t believe it.
It seemed inconsistent and even unreal.
Most importantly, the giant dragon chose to escape without a shred of hesitation, like acting out a long-practiced move.
It even seemed a little timid.
“Tsk, this dragon beast is really something,” Bai Shanhou exclaimed.
On the other side—Devil Emperor Bare Brain’s face turned dark. The massive dragon was basically useless, merely fleeing after the last attack.
“Hahaha!” General Cameron laughed heartily. He could finally attack as he wished since the dragon’s restraint had been removed. Wielding his sword, he slashed repeatedly at Bare Brain.
“Get lost!” Bare Brain was furious. The battle mace was wrapped in flames hot enough to burn the skies, which then turned into a huge hammer glow to smash forth.
It was a terrifying battle which spanned an unimaginable distance, reaching all the way towards space.
Wang Teng’s eyes flickered. He said to Bai Shanhou, “Senior, I’m going after the dragon beast. I can’t let it escape.”
Bai Shanhou raised his eyebrow and asked meaningfully, “Weren’t you afraid of getting close to it before? What’s different now?”
“Haha, it’s heavily injured after all. I should be fine if I’m careful.” Wang Teng chuckled.
“Go figure. Chase it if you wish,” Bai Shanhou replied.
“Okay,” Wang Teng said and rushed in the direction the dragon took as it escaped. It had already gone far into the distance. Even with his eyesight, he could barely see a black spot.
Bai Shanhou couldn’t help but shake his head and smile when he noticed the young one’s excited look.
Our hero went and directly used space techniques to chase the monster at an extremely fast speed.
His figure disappeared into the distance, appearing every now and then. The distance between him and the dragon was getting smaller and smaller.
The latter noticed it was being chased, so it moved faster.
It was hard to imagine that massive body moving at such a terrifying speed.
You can never judge a book by its cover!
Wang Teng’s face turned dark. Is this dragon beast a mouse? Why is it so fast? Where’s the dark behemoth presence from before?
Our hero felt at a loss. He used everything—wind force, space techniques, including the Wings of Wind and Lightning. You could hear the faint sounds of wind and thunder whenever the wings flapped. His speed was far beyond what a cosmos stage martial warrior could achieve.
However, compared to the universe stage creature, the difference was huge, even if the dragon was injured.
Round Ball’s voice echoed just then, “Wang Teng, there’s no one else in the vicinity. You can use the Devil Slayer now.”
Wang Teng immediately took out the Devil Slayer and entered it in a flash.
This showed how deep his trust towards Round Ball ran; he hardly gave it any thought.
The Devil Slayer’s size was comparable to that of the Obelisk Scale Dragon Beast.
The force engines started, and the Devil Slayer made a roaring sound. It then left an afterimage, disappearing from the current spot.
A universe tier spacecraft could naturally match the dragon’s pace. It was also equipped with universe-level weapons on it, which made it possible to deal with the creature.
It was fortunate that Wang Teng could store the vessel. Otherwise, it would be complicated to make use of it.
The dragon beast was startled by the appearance of the Devil Slayer.
The ship wasn’t any slower; the beast couldn’t outrun it, no matter how fast it accelerated.
The dragon felt aggrieved. A fierce light flashed in its only eye as it let out a loud roar and flew towards a desolate area.
The creature knew who was giving chase; it was the small ant that made it suffer deeply. Its hatred towards Wang Teng even surpassed what it felt about the Planet Annihilation Cannon.
After all, the cannon was a mere object and Wang Teng was a live human, the culprit that directly caused it to suffer grievous injuries.
The human was just a celestial stage warrior. Even while injured, killing the ant would be a piece of cake.
The dragon beast was confident, and full of hatred. Star beasts were often vengeful; it wanted to kill Wang Teng immediately right after making sure that no one else was after it.
The chase continued. Wang Teng was much faster on the ship and was closing up the distance.
Round Ball appeared in front of Wang Teng inside the spacecraft, then noticed where they were headed. “This big guy seems to be deliberately leading us to a remote place.”
“I know. It probably wants revenge.” Wang Teng sneered. “We’ll stay far enough and bait it.”
“Hehe, I’m afraid this big guy hasn’t experienced a beating. It doesn’t know that humans are sinister.” Round Ball snickered.
