Chapter 52
Chapter 52: Invincible

With this strength and warrior energy, even some of the top ten seats in Grade Three weren’t a match for Qian Jin! A Grade One student that had a warrior energy level comparable to Grade Three students? Many Grade Three students who were watching felt a little degraded.
The four challengers in the center of the circle felt even more shame. It was as if they were facing an instructor rather than one of their peers. Although Qian Jin stood there calmly, they didn’t know how to initiate an attack.
After seeing that no one was moving, Fick waved his hand and said, “Go!”
As his words resonated in the air, Qian Jin moved!
Qian Jin’s front leg stomped the ground and thrusted his body towards his opponents with a boost from the other leg. With three leaps, he raised his arm and chopped down at Durk’s head as if his arm was a blade.
Qian Jin’s sleeves were a bit bigger and wider. He bought clothes that were a bit bigger so he could still wear the same clothes when he grew taller. Sap! Sap! Sap! At this point, the wide sleeves fluttered violently in the air like a carpet.
“Great movement speed, great attack speed! His warrior energy and pure strength compliment each other perfectly; there isn’t a single bit of waste. There is no way that he hasn’t spent a lot of time on this [Chopping Technique]. Although this technique is taught at the academy, many students don’t practice it because it’s so basic.”
Fick, who was observing the fight closely, was surprised by Qian Jin’s move. This strike could be considered perfect, except that it lacked the vicious murderous intent that real warriors had.
Durk instantly felt the pressure and became more cautious. The chop from Qian Jin’s arm was very powerful. The air that the chop pushed towards him almost interrupted his breathing. He felt like he was standing in a storm.
“I first thought that he had some special fighting technique and lacked the fundamentals. From the look of it, I underestimated him too much…”
Bam! Durk crossed his arms and pushed them above his head; his arms and Qian Jin’s arm collided. However, the collision wasn’t as strong as Durk expected. He felt Qian Jin opening his hand on his striking arm and he grabbed both of his wrists and suddenly pulled Durk upward!
Both of Durk’s leg lifted from the ground! He felt he was flying. As he saw himself getting farther and farther away from Qian Jin, he knew clearly that he was thrown away! His plan of countering Qian Jin hard on and buying time for the other three challengers fell short.
Fick’s squinted eyes shined as he saw this. “Completely drawing back the erupting warrior energy? This control of energy is rare to see! Could it be that he advanced to a Level 6 Warrior a while ago?” He thought to himself.
The other three challengers never could have imagined Qian Jin throwing Durk away with just brute strength. Qian Jin didn’t give them much time to react, as his front kick was approaching Varese at an insane speed. However, he suddenly changed the attack by moving his right foot in between Varese’s legs and twisting his shoulders. At the exact moment his opponent lost balance, he thrusted his body forward and knocked Varese away with his shoulder like a bull charging at a sheep.
“[Barbaric Charge] can be used this way?” The crowd was surprised. This Barbaric Charge wasn’t even considered a fighting technique; no one used it in battle. The only use for it was for soldiers who retired and became local patrols to break up civilians who gathered together and caused trouble. Barbaric Charge would disrupt them, but it didn’t hurt them.
No one expected Qian Jin to use a technique that was designed for civilians in this 1 vs. 4 fight against the other four top ten seats. It worked surprisingly well! If they didn’t see this first hand, they would never have believed it.
The other two challengers reacted quickly. They attacked Qian Jin almost at the same time; their fists and feet targeted Qian Jin’s head and stomach. Qian Jin didn’t panic. Instead, he opened both of his palms and accurately grabbed the fist and feet and threw them into the crowd with only his physical strength.
Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!
Four sounds of heavy objects hitting the ground sounded in sequence. All four challengers fell to the ground, and the deep loud impact noises tested the crowd’s nerves.
“That’s it? That’s all?” The people in the crowd looked at each other and couldn’t believe what they were seeing. “How did an intense and exciting 1 vs. 4 battle end in a blink of an eye? They are all Grade One students, so why is there this huge power gap between them? This low-key Qian Jin is way too strong!” The thought crossed everyone’s mind.
Qian Jin rubbed and clapped his hands as he stood in the center of the circle that the crowd made for the battle and looked at his opponents who were either thrown or knocked out. “Does anyone else wish to fight me?” he asked.
“More fighting? What?” Durk flexed his body and jumped off of the ground. Although he didn’t get hurt at all, he felt more ashamed than if he were to get his ass kicked and end up in a hospital. They were all Grade One warrior students, but Qian Jin almost instantly finished the 1 vs. 4 battle with ease.
“Invincible! He’s fought the four top students in the grade!” Everyone in the crowd had the same thought. Qian Jin was invincible in Grade One without a doubt! There had never been such an invincible student in the grade in the history of Oakland Academy!
A few Grade Two warrior student looked frustrated. “With Level 6 Warrior Energy and his strangely powerful strength, Qian Jin’s real fighting ability would probably be much more than this if he fights seriously…” They still couldn’t believe what they saw.
“Next time, I won’t go easy at all.” Qian Jin glanced around as he said with a friendly smile on his face, but this smile seemed ice-cold in others’ eyes.
“If someone thinks he or she can beat me…” Qian Jin shrugged his shoulders as he said carelessly, “I can accept challenges anytime. However…” His tone suddenly became gloomy and cold. “Be prepared; be prepared to get severely injured with me, and we can stay in the hospital together! If this ruins your future by not allowing you to participate in the Universal Hero Conference, don’t blame me for it.”
The top ten seats in Grade Three heard this and their expressions stiffed for a second. They knew that Qian Jin was saying that to them. They were the representatives of Oakland Academy this year in the Universal Hero Conference. If they could well perform during the competition and be spotted by recruiters from the advanced academies, they would be accepted into the advanced academies without having to take the entrance exam. If they were hindered during the competition because they got into a fight with Qian Jin, they would be the real losers.
