Chapter 441
Chapter 441: 1 vs. 100
Before Lucifer Lucy walked back to her own room, she also looked back at Qian Jin. But she realized that someone blocked her. It was Gabriella….. No, Gloria.
Since Gloria was here… Lucifer Lucy curled her lips as she winked at Qian Jin coquettishly. She then also left her door half closed.
“Gloria…” Lucifer Lucy lied on her soft bed. With her hands as a pillow, she thought to herself, “How is there a girl this strong? She is more than just a Supreme Mage. I think she is at least a level 6 Supreme Mage. How does she meditate? Is she going to try to advance to an Ultimate Mage this year?”
Last night, when she saw someone in the courtyard, she walked out and got frozen in ice when she couldn’t use her bloodline battle form.
If she activated her bloodline battle form? Lucifer Lucy thought about it and realized that she still might not be able to match up with that strange woman. Unless she used Demon Eye of Destruction, or she advanced to a level 6 Demon Slayer, she would be defeated.
“Level 6 Demon Slayer…” Lucifer Lucy smiled bitterly. Even a bloodline warrior couldn’t go from level 1 Demon Slayer to level 5 Demon Slayer overnight.
“Can you, invite me to a dance?”
Qian Jin was surprised by Gloria’s request, but he nodded blankly. He raised his arm robotically to invite her. “What is going on tonight? Why does everyone want to dance with me? Am I that good that dancing?” He wondered.
After the dance, Gloria didn’t say much more. She started to study the Magic Core that Qian Jin have her.
Qian Jin stood by her side as he thought, “Although a key magic array is missing because Duren Burg absorbed it, the other magic arrays couldn’t be underestimated. It would still be complicated to extract them and analyze them.”
It wasn’t easy for a Supreme Mage, a genius Supreme Mage, to figure it out.
During Duren Burg’s awakening, the magic array inside the magic core was extracted. Any little bit of magic power would make the magic core project out the magic arrays. However, it was still hard to figure everything out.
Magic, it was more than just arranging the magic elements and throwing them out.
Although Qian Jin couldn’t use magic, he knew that the essence of a magic spell needs to be figured out. That was the only way to develop new magic spells.
“Is there anything wrong with it?”
Qian Jin sat down in front of Gloria as he looked at the advanced magic spell – [Sand Wall].
Gloria didn’t respond. She lightly pointed at a location in the magic array and the projected magic array instantly zoomed into the place she pointed at. A few series of strange magic element arrangement patterns appeared.
Qian Jin looked at the arrangement as he thought, “This is strange. It seems complicated to recreate this magic element arrangements.
“So these arrangements are for the control of the output?”
For the first time, a surprised expression appeared on Gloria’s face. “He couldn’t study magic at all, but how can he understand the arrangements that I spent several days on?” She thought.
“Actually, this arrangement pattern can be changed. After all, the spiritual power of the Sand Python is different from humans.” Qian Jin analyzed carefully as he thought back to the knowledge about magic arrays he acquired. “The human body is different from a Sand Python, if you take back some power here and re-arrange it there…”
Whoosh!
Sand particles and regular dust soared into the sky and formed a tornado and screen like protection around Qian Jin.
“This quick?” Qian Jin was surprised by this girl’s talent. Although he knew she was smart, he didn’t expect her to use this advanced magic spell so smoothly as if she had used it hundreds of times.
Gloria put away the magic spell and shock also filled her eyes. “What kind of a man is he? If I didn’t know him early on and knew that he couldn’t even sense magic elements, I would think he is at least an Ultimate Mage.”
A man who couldn’t use magic easily changed up the output arrangements, and that allowed a human to cast the spell that belonged to Demon Beasts. Actually, it was even more powerful than the original spell.
“This… How much fundamental knowledge would that require?” Gloria looked at Qian Jin and she thought, “Where did he learn it from? Even an Ultimate Mage couldn’t explain that to me that clearly.”
After sensing the stare from Gloria, Qian Jin felt a little uncomfortable. He focused on the magic array again and didn’t realize that he, a man who had zero magic power, was able to make an Ultimate Mage be ashamed on pure theoretical knowledge.
“What is happening with this array?”
Gloria pointed at another array. This time, she had problems about the control of the magic. This was a very special dark magic spell. From the look of it, it seemed like a [Fear] Spell, it would instantly disturb the state of a person.
Looking at this seemingly useless spell, Qian Jin realized the true power of it. “So devastating! If two masters were battling each other, and one party got struck by this spell, which that person would become emotionally unstable, and he would show a lot of weakness. Warriors can’t defeat against it, and mages with a weak spiritual power would have his or her conscious messed up.”
“A Sand Python’s thinking process is much simpler than human’s, therefore, they only need one point of concentration to cast the spell.” Qian Jin rested his head on his palms as he said, “If you focus on a three points of control, it would be more stable and you would have an easier time with it.”
Gloria didn’t say anything, but she was definitely even more surprised. She then pointed at the third, fourth, fifth array…
In less than an hour, seven magic spells that belonged to the Sand Python were turned to spells that humans could cast.
Gloria shook her head as she watched Qian Jin going back to his own room to sleep. She thought that she had the most talent as a mage, but she didn’t expect Qian Jin who couldn’t study magic to…
She looked up into the sky and wondered, “Could it be that Qian Jin have so much talent that even the gods got jealous? That’s why he was cursed to not be able to practice magic?”
“Oh I didn’t expect the arrays of the Sand Python to be so simple. Those are all the basic stuff Master Akenash taught me early on.”
Qian Jin put the hat onto this head as he thought.
Soon, the calm village appeared in his eyes, and gate to Enlak’s house was still closed like always.
Qian Jin stood there for a second before he pushed it open and stepped into it. The fact that Dividing Metal Multi-Chop’s Warrior Seal was formed so quickly, and how it was crushed and quickly reformed again were the stuff he didn’t understand.
“Master Enlak.” Qian Jin looked at the man who was sitting in the center and said, “I’m here for another challenge.”
“Again?” Enlak pushed himself off of the ground and smiled at Qian Jin. “What do you think this is? Do you think this is a place where you can come as you want and get prizes?”
Qian Jin was surprised. After a moment of thinking, he nodded honestly. Although it was difficult to win here, Enlak never gave him an impossible challenge. When facing a master like this, he couldn’t manage to lie.
“WTF?” Enlak stared at Qian Jin forcefully. “I have never seen such an honest boy like you. Even if that is the truth, you have to give me some face. No, I have to beat your ass today. You want to ask questions? Win first.”
Qian Jin looked around but didn’t see anyone else. “Could it be that Enlak wants to test me himself? Or is he going to use his second warrior body?” He thought.
“Kid, have you tried to fight one against many?”
“One against many?” Qian Jin tried to recall the fights he was in. “I encounter more situation where I go one against many Demon Beasts.”
“Really?” Enlak said with a concerned expression. “Then you need to find the opportunity to practice all scenarios you might encounter as a warrior.”
Qian Jin looked around and still didn’t see anyone. “Could it be that Uncle Enlak want to fight me with his second warrior body?” He thought.
“For the first time, just do one against a hundred.”
Enlak snapped his figure, and two warriors appeared behind him, four warriors appeared behind the two warriors, eight behind the four… Like a huge paint that was opening up, a hundred warriors appeared behind Enlak in a perfect triangle. They were all level 9 Demon Slayers with weapons in their hands.
“Eh…”
Qian Jin looked at the warriors behind Enlak. They were all created from a dash of warrior power from Enlak’s body.
Technically, they were all the second warrior body of Enlak.
