Anhao picked up her cup of milk tea, her chin resting in her palm. She looked at the two of them seriously and whispered, “Would you believe if I say I got married to Zuo Hancheng?”
Chunchun sneered. “See, I told you she must have something on her mind and she won’t tell us the truth.”
Huang Amao also put her chin on her hand. “We are probably here today just for a cup of milk tea, we won’t be getting any info whatsoever, tsk tsk.”

Anhao put her head on the table dejectedly.
She was speaking the truth!!!
Also, no wonder Zuo Hancheng laughed at her awful acting that day and said that she was too inexperienced.
It seemed like she had gotten it right after having simply made a guess that day. He really did have a lot of women pursuing him—female stars, female bosses, young ladies, all kinds of women.
So why would he want to be so cruel to someone like her who had yet to graduate from high school?
Why would he ignore all the brilliant and tempting peonies and all kinds of colorful butterflies, and keep on bullying a budding wild chrysanthemum like her?
Recalling the mysterious President Zuo who mentioned he would check her schoolwork in a few days’ time, she grinded her teeth angrily.
She wished to expose his real face in front of everyone and prove how much of a ruffian he was!
However, after giving it much thought, she realized that he did not even have any degrading secrets she could expose, instead she was the one that had exposed her ugliest sides to him. She showed him all sorts of embarrassing incidents, was looked down on and disciplined in all types of ways!
The only shady thing about him was that the president of Shengling Group had an eccentric hobby—training and guiding young ones!
After being stared at by Chunchun and Huang Amao for a long time, Anhao wanted to cry but no tears came out. She then decided to explain everything from the very beginning. Just as she was about to open her mouth, she suddenly heard clamors of excitement coming from the girls beside them once more.
“Aaah! Looks at this! A few entertainment media tried to follow the trend saying that they’re going to hire elite groups. They’re offering a high price for anyone who can dig up any deep information about that mysterious boss of Shengling Group and would pay ten million for exclusive information! Oh my God! The price of this exclusive news is even more expensive than the most popular star in the country! Things are about to blow up, isn’t it?”
“The Shengling Group is surely going to be surrounded by the media!”
“Impossible. A place like Shengling Group has tighter security than the plaza in front of the F Government’s building. Who would dare to block the way of the boss at the entrance of Shengling Group. They would have to use all sorts of covert ways to stalk him…”
Ten million?
Anhao blinked and suddenly glanced at her phone. She lightly tapped on her phone and scrolled through the pages.
Ten million just for an exclusive news about Zuo Hancheng—that meant that Zuo Hancheng’s private phone number would be worth a lot, right?
Ugh… No! How could she disregard the chance to earn such a large sum of money? How could she be content by just giving out his phone number?
As the saying goes ‘first come, first serve’. No matter what, she had to dig up some kind of shady information about Zuo Hancheng. When the time arrives, she would be satisfied for half of her life even if they paid her five million!
“Anhao, what’re you smiling at? You have been keeping us in the dark this whole time, and now you are smiling?!”
Anhao mysteriously cracked a grin. Her hand pinched the straw and she slightly stirred her drink, keeping her head down to hide the overflowing joy in her eyes.

At the parking lot near the entrance of Deways Hotel, a tiny shadow was hiding behind a few cars and slowly made its way toward the entrance of the hotel.
After Anhao got discharged from the hospital, she stayed in school for three days, and the weekend had finally arrived. She would not be so obedient and actually do revision for her school work.
Revision was a waste of life, time and money! What a joke! She could throw away her books and earn ten million any minute now.
She had wanted to bring Zuo Hancheng problems for the past two days but unexpectedly, he did not contact her.
As such, she decided to make the first move and call Mobai.
Even though Mobai was his personal assistant, all he knew was that they had a special relationship, he did not know what kind of relationship they had. That was why Anhao thought that it was easier to start from Mobai since he treated Anhao as their own for now.
After trying to get an answer out of him by asking him indirectly, she finally found out that Zuo Hancheng would be staying in the Devas Hotel to have a meeting with a CEO of a certain international company.
She instantly took a cab and rushed there. After hiding at the parking lot outside of the hotel entrance for a while, she noticed that there were no reporters nearby so she stood up and walked toward the hotel entrance with nothing to hide.
Just as she was about to leave the parking lot, she suddenly spotted an SUV with a plate number for military use parked nearby from the corner of her eyes.
The plate number was very familiar. She instantly stopped in her tracks and soon saw the silhouette of a couple of familiar people getting down from the SUV.
That was Gu Tianming’s car, which meant that it was the personal vehicle of the mayor of A City.
As expected, the people that came out from the car were Gu Tianming, Gu Shishi and Mrs. Gu. After the three of them got out of the car, the chauffeur parked the car in a place that did not stand out.
Anhao subconsciously dashed behind a car and silently poked her head out to observe them.
The fifty-four-year-old Gu Tianming was wearing a black suit. Since he was the mayor, his attire had always been presentable all these years. He wore glasses with a gold frame. He was skinny and tall, looking like a fair and incorruptible mayor.
Only Anhao knew that under this human façade he had on, there was a cold-blooded and vicious character, one with a repulsive heart.
If it were not for her entering the Gu family five years ago, witnessing how evil and filthy Gu Tianming was as a person, she would not have believed that human nature could ever fall to such an extent. Every time she thought about it, she felt goosebumps all over her arms, nauseous even, because her surname was also Gu.
Gu Shishi was wearing her favourite evening dress as she put her hands around Mrs. Gu’s arm, walking toward the direction of the hotel with Gu Tianming.
“Did anything happen while I was in Beijing for the meeting these past two months?” Gu Tianming asked as they were walking.
Mrs. Gu smiled and said, “You went to Beijing for only two months, not two years. What could have happened?”
“Good. I heard that something happened at A High but I don’t know the details and haven’t made time to find out about it. All I know is, that girl, Gu Anhao, is always creating problems for me, not giving me any peace of mind, and tarnishing my name every chance she gets!”
“Dad, don’t you worry about Gu Anhao. Just let her do whatever she wants since you can stop supporting her when she graduates. Just chase her out of our house then.” Gu Shishi smiled as she said.
