Chapter 3634 - Flameyellow, Cosmic God Blood
Chapter 3634 - Flameyellow, Cosmic God Blood
Of course, Tianming wasn’t afraid of the orderlies no matter how terrifying they were. “A coalition of orderlies, wonderians, and this Invincible Ultimate God of Old united to capture him?” he asked. If Little Feng had managed to withstand even all that, he would truly be incredible.
“Yes! Unfortunately, he couldn’t win. After all, he can counter the orderlies, but not the wonderians,” Jin Lin regretfully said.
After saying that, his passion surged as he added, “Even so, the Nightfiend still managed to fight his way from God Domain One to God Domain Nine, slaughtering at least a million orderlies! He bathed the Ancient Oldgod Domain in blood, leaving countless orderlies quaking in fear and fleeing in panic!”
“Is he still alive?” Tianming asked, his voice tightening with worry.
“Yes, he’s alive! The wonderians took him away, presumably to their main base in the Upper Star Ruin. Who knows what kind of experiments they’ll perform on him? The wonderians are notorious for their twisted research!” Jin Lin said through gritted teeth.
“The Upper Star Ruin... the wonderians’ base....” In other words, Qingyu was still in God Domain One, but Lingfeng was no longer there.
Sixth’s words were indeed half-truths. Tianming hadn’t expected that Little Feng was no longer around. It was the wonderians yet again!
“In my opinion, those wonderians took the Nightfiend to figure out his powers. If they manage to harness his abilities, controlling the orderlies would be even easier for them. Honestly, the orderlies are suicidal! They sell order fragments to the outside, sold out their homeland, and even let a deadly threat be taken away!” Jin Lin’s disdain was palpable.
“Little Feng....” Tianming furrowed his brows. The story this aurumite told was what had been happening while Tianming was conquering Ebonia and Myriadpath Valley.
Tianming had chosen the path of the masses, while Lingfeng had chosen the path of soul devouring. Their paths were different, and so were the places that suited them. In comparison, Tianming’s conquest of the astralscape had given him a far stronger foundation than Lingfeng’s.
That was what an elder brother should do: provide a safety net for his younger siblings.
Lingfeng’s childhood isolation had left him with some personality challenges, making him less adaptable than Tianming and more prone to causing trouble. But then again, landing directly in the Order College would have been challenging for anyone.
The situation was different from the one involving the Divine Moon Realm. This time, the wonderians were involved, with Sixth stirring up trouble in the background.
“Ling’er’s also in the Upper Star Ruin. I’ll inevitably have to confront the wonderians after unifying the astralscape, but before that, I need to bring Qingyu home!” Tianming’s mind became clear. The wonderians had caused so much trouble in the astralscape that Tianming was already fed up with them.
He took a deep breath.
“Jin Lin, tell me more about Original Sin. What exactly is it?” Tianming asked.
“Original Sin?” Jin Lin glanced at Zi Zhen before quickly replying, “Original Sin appeared alongside the Nightfiend. It’s said to be a human girl. The title ‘Original Sin’ was forced upon her by the orderlies.”
“What do you mean?” Tianming asked, frowning.
“They say the girl has a very potent concentration of cosmic god blood!” Jin Lin explained.
“Cosmic god blood?” Tianming recalled the old gods' blood the sun emperor had found in the past. Could the old gods refer to cosmic gods?
“Yes. There’s a place in the Order College called the Original Sin Pool, said to contain the heart’s blood of many cosmic gods from foreign races. It was passed down through our God Domain specters since ancient times, only to be seized by the orderlies. They’ve long wanted to use it, but haven’t been able to find a way.”
“And then?”
“When the girl arrived at the Order College, the Original Sin Pool began boiling. Clearly, she might be the key to unlocking the cosmic god blood. So, the orderlies branded her as ‘Original Sin’ and planned to judge her. They might even dissect her to transplant her bloodline into one of their own, allowing them to harness the power of foreign cosmic gods.”
Jin Lin lowered his voice as he continued, “It’s said that the cosmic god blood in the Original Sin Pool is the result of a grand battle between top cosmic gods in ancient times. Countless gods fought, beginning their battle in the Upper Star Ruin and ending up in the Ancient Oldgod Domain. Many perished here, and each massive corpse condensed into just a single drop of blood! Those cosmic gods were terrifying, and even the cosmic gods of God Domain Nine aren’t worthy to shine their shoes! If anyone manages to harness their blood, they’ll ascend beyond measure!”
“Really?” Anything related to cosmic gods made Tianming’s heart race. “Are there records of the opposing sides in that battle?”
“I’m not too sure. My father once mentioned that one side was called ‘Flameyellow’....”
Tianming’s heart violently pounded. Flameyellow? The flameyellow divinities?! Cosmic Gods? Was it the battle during the fall of the Flameyellow Imperial Star?
“Because that war caused so much destruction to the Ancient Oldgod Domain, we call it the War of Original Sin. Who would’ve thought that, after all these years, the orderlies would use that term to label someone?” Jin Lin cursed.
“You mentioned that the orderlies planned to strip the girl of her bloodline and imprisoned her in the Taboo Ocean?” Tianming gritted his teeth as he asked.
“Yes!” Jin Lin nodded. “Everyone in the Ancient Oldgod Domain knows about it. The Order College has been waiting for this for a long time!”
“When will they strip her bloodline?” Tianming’s eyes blazed with anger.
“Soon, I think! The Taboo Ocean has already shrunk by ninety percent. That Nightfiend Servant won’t be able to hold out much longer,” Jin Lin replied.
“Nightfiend Servant? Is it a three-headed, six-armed soul beast?” Tianming’s eyes widened.
“Yes! It swallowed the girl to protect her. It’s terrifying, having devoured many of the orderlies as well. The orderlies can only use the Taboo Ocean and the combined strength of tens of thousands of Eyes of Heaven to suppress and kill it. Once the final ten percent of the Taboo Ocean is compressed, it’ll be finished. Then the girl will have no one left to protect her.” Jin Lin seemed exasperated.
He worshiped the Nightfiend, so he felt sympathetic toward the girl associated with him.
Tianming and his companions now fully understood the situation.
The specters of the Ancient Oldgod Domain refused to be enslaved.
The Nightfiend devoured souls and slaughtered countless enemies.
Qingyu carried cosmic god blood and had been imprisoned by the orderlies to have her bloodline stripped. The Taboo Ocean had only ten percent left.
Fortunately, Tianming had arrived.
“We have to break the Taboo Ocean and rescue Qingyu,” Moran said through gritted teeth.
“With just us?” Zi Zhen frowned.
It was evident that the Order College was incredibly strong. Moreover, they had no means to counter the orderlies, unlike Lingfeng. Not to mention, the Order College had Sixth causing trouble behind the scenes!
Such a headache!
“These specters could be useful,” Tianming said, turning his gaze to Jin Lin.
Jin Lin immediately grew indignant. “Kid, what kind of attitude is that to have when speaking to the First General under the goddess’ command?”
“Yell at him again and I’ll tear your head off!” Zi Zhen sharply said, her brows knitting together.
“Gah?” The aurumite was utterly stunned. Why was his goddess siding with an insignificant, useless piece of trash? It made no sense!
