If Suishen Jiguang knew that Tianming was her savior, she would recall what her brother had attempted to do to her every time she saw him. And that would create an odd tension between them; after all, he was her niece's husband.
However, she didn't seem like she was in a good state. Tianming stopped and wanted to put her down, only to find that she was tightly clutching on him while still feeling dazed. Just as he wanted to snap her out of it, her cosmic artifact armor suddenly broke apart and scattered!
"Shit!" Tianming looked down and almost got a nosebleed. "I... I...."
She was far too close and he could see everything! Eminent Jiguang had released the armor of her own accord! The sight alone made Tianming's Junior Grand-Orient Sword pulse with power.
Fortunately, he hadn't lost his reason, unlike her. He couldn't take advantage of her in her moment of weakness, not to mention she was his wife’s aunt. "I can't do this."
It was a little sudden, too, and Tianming's lifebound beasts were there, watching everything. He also had his evil impulses to worry about. If he couldn't suppress them, he would be just like Suishen Yue.
Even though Eminent Jiguang was of a completely different sort than Feiling and was incredibly attractive in her own right, he still had self-control, albeit a strongly wavering one.
He gave his own face a hard slap and used the grand lexicon wonder to suppress her and pull her away from him. A few thousand Xia words were enough to keep her at bay, though they didn't do anything to block out her immense beauty. Tianming took out a set of armor from his spatial ring to seal away the sight of temptation.
"Once more, I have proven that I am a gentleman," Tianming said straight-faced to Ying Huo and the rest, suppressing his evil impulses. The six of them burst into laughter.
"I'm sure you're imagining how nice it’d be now if you didn't have lifebound beasts!" Ying Huo said.
"Shut up! Don’t slander me, you crook!" Tianming snapped, clearing his throat.
"Boss, it isn't very gentlemanly to raise your Grand-Orient Sword that high," Lan Huang said in its signature loud voice, startling Tianming.
"All of you! Shut up!"
Even though he had calmed down, Eminent Jiguang hadn't. That single droplet of blood had greatly affected her. Her consciousness dwindled more and more. While Tianming could hold back her body, he couldn't stop her from making noises. Even her softest moans were causing the evil impulses in his astral brain to surge.
"I can't keep this up!" Tianming didn't even dare to take a look at her and closed his ears tight, constantly brainstorming a way to deal with the situation. He was on the brink of losing control of his evil impulses!
"Wait! Little Li, don't you need the bloodline of a native of the Yin-Yang World for the monochrome figurine? Doesn’t that drop of blood come from the Yin-Yang World? Why don't you try it out on the figurine?" Xian Xian suddenly said.
Everything clicked into place! Yin Chen had described the droplet as a combination of black and white, just like the Yin-Yang World! Tianming hadn't been able to think about it due to his mental state, but Xian Xian had reminded him about it just in time.
It's possible that the monochrome figurine was the formation core of the fortuna-class astralship, and all he needed to control it was the blood of a Yin-Yang-World native! Was there a way for him to extract it from Eminent Jiguang's body?
"Xian Xian, you're amazing! If this works, not only did you save Auntie, you also got us an astralship!" Tianming almost lifted his left leg where Xian Xian was up to kiss it.
"Hmph, I bet you're disappointed that you're going to miss a chance to have a go at this beauty," Ji Ji sneered.
"That's right, you good for nothing!" Xian Xian joined in.
"Hey, ease up on the unfounded accusations!" Tianming said. Apart from that time when the evil impulses had taken over when he was with Lan Yun, Tianming had remained completely chaste, though the mere thought of that time was making the evil impulses surge once more.
Though both women were immensely attractive, Eminent Jiguang was far more elegant and graceful. Lan Yun had been a cold beauty, but Eminent Jiguang was a true goddess.
He shook his head to get his mind out of the gutter and took out the figurine. He didn't know how he would go about extracting the drop of blood, but he tried anyway. Holding the figurine in one hand, he touched the bane-rings between the brows of Suishen Jiguang with a finger on the other hand.
"Huh?" Tianming did notice the monochrome figurine pulse for a moment. "So that drop of blood really came from the Yin-Yang World after all."
He was shocked when he felt the figurine fuse with his palm and send a stream of energy through his body into Eminent Jiguang. Finally, the black miasma began flowing out of her body, especially her seventh astral organ. That was what had been making her go out of control.
The miasma receded back to her forehead and formed a drop of black-and-white blood before being absorbed into Tianming's body. The droplet traveled through his body to his other arm and unsurprisingly entered the monochrome figurine. Then it let out a voice that said, "Yin-Yang World Bloodline inspection has begun."
"It really worked?!" Tianming was impressed by Xian Xian's genius.
"Suishen Hongtian, Suishen Yue, I didn't think that you’d have what I needed! Looks like my efforts weren't wasted at all! Your sins turned into my blessing!" He was absolutely overjoyed and couldn't turn away from the monochrome figurine.
"How much longer will it take?" he said.
"Inspection in progress. Please wait patiently," said the voice once more.
"What in the world?!"

"Alright!" Tianming chucked the figurine back into his spatial ring. It was only a matter of time before it was done; once he noticed it, he could just take it out.
"Auntie...." He turned back and looked at the completely defenseless woman. She appeared to have recovered, with the luster returning to her skin. Her minor-zenith power reserves were coming back to her and she looked livelier than before. While she was no longer as dangerously alluring, she appeared even more beautiful. Elegance and grace were what had originally made her appealing, after all.
Tianming stopped using the grand lexicon wonder, still nervous that she would find out who he was beneath the purple mask. After fifteen minutes, she opened her eyes wide. Tianming was ten meters away and was relieved to see that she had recovered.
Eminent Jiguang kept her pink eyes trained on the Mistrunner, not knowing what to say. She looked down at the layers of clothing around her and found that her Suishen Blood was still there. There was no question of the Mistrunner's character.
"How much do you know?" Tianming asked with a hoarse voice. It was clear from her reaction that she didn't know who he was.
She changed into a white dress and returned Tianming's things, then took a deep breath and said, "You saved me.... Not only that, you didn't take advantage of me while I was helpless, and you even dealt with that drop of blood for me...."
The only thing she didn't know was who her savior really was. In a gentle voice, she said, "No matter who you are, you saved my life. I’m Suishen Jiguang and I hail from Myriadpath Valley's House Suishen. You must be the Mistrunner that everyone’s been talking about. I must repay you for saving my life. I’ll do anything you say to the best of my ability."
She was incredibly grateful to the stranger before her, but still somewhat wary. They were from different factions, after all, and the mistrunners might have their own agenda that she wasn't aware of.
Tianming was relieved to hear that. She would never guess that her savior would be the brat she had been protecting for so long. He waved and said, "I only came to your aid because it didn't sit right with me. I don't need any reimbursement. Since you're fine now, I’ll bid you farewell."
Even though he pretended to be someone else as he said that, it still felt quite good to do so.
