Chapter 2105 - The Sky is the Limit
Chapter 2105 - The Sky is the Limit
The Ninedragon Imperial Tomb was in the sky above the Tianming Dynasty, where Tianming was with three girls as they made their final farewells. Though they would still be able to meet regularly in the wondersky realm, his main purpose was to leave all of his cultivation resources behind on the sun.
Yu Ziqian surreptitiously pulled him to the side and stuffed a spatial ring into his hands. “My dear brother! I cleared out all their stock and got thirty thousand of them. Do use them sparingly and don’t be as eager as in the past.”
Tianming bonked him on the head. “Less nonsense out of you. Anyway, I’m sure Infinitum Bodhimanda will have some too.”
“You don’t get it, this is a special product of the sun! The law of the universe states that, the higher a lifeform is, the harder procreation becomes. When it’s hard having a child, who will be bothered inventing such a thing. Hence, it may really be possible Infinitum Bodhimanda won’t have it! Still, you may not even need it. My hypothesis is that you’re so talented that you might as well be infertile,” Yu Ziqian sniggered.
“Seriously, less nonsense out of you!” Tianming kicked him right in the ass and sent him flying.
Tianming had settled all his matters.
Sovereign Brightscorch came over and asked, “Li Tianming, Ye Chen asked me to ask if you could bring him along to Infinitum Bodhimanda. Once there, he said he won’t bother you and his life and death will be up to him.”
“Him?” Tianming looked in a corner, where a white-clothed youth seemed to be loitering. He seemed much more mature now.
“Next time. He’s improved quite a bit. Tell him to go to Godfather for now, and I’ll pick him up in a few years,” Tianming replied. He had two reasons for the rejection. Firstly, he didn’t want the trouble, and secondly, there had been prior conflict between the two; hence, he didn’t trust Ye Chen.
Ye Chen knew too much about the sun. Who knew if he may let the sun’s position slip if Tianming didn’t pay attention to him. Although a solarian like him wouldn’t be able to find its exact position, he could still provide them the general location, which meant there was still some risk.
He wasn’t quite afraid of the risk in Skydome Battlefield, as the mysterians couldn’t do anything too flashy in the Infinitum Mundus.
In the end, Tianming didn’t want any mistakes.
The sun would be sealed off after he left. However, there wouldn’t be any feelings of being cooped up with a size twenty times that of a heliacal-class world.
“I’ll let him know. Jeez, he really is blind. How could you want him along for the ride when you’re bringing three ladies with you?” Sovereign Brightscorch winked.
“I’m not that kind of person,” Tianming said.
“Right!” Sovereign Brightscorch said.
Tianming was speechless.
His farewells with Wudi came last.
“Just go already,” Wudi said.
“Don’t be like Old Ye, you hear me. I don’t want you to be single when I leave, but have a dynasty of children when I return.”
Wudi snorted with derision and Tianming laughed.
Many watched as Tianming, Feiling, Xiaoxiao, and Moran flew into the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb. The tomb flew into the sky and vanished.
……
Tianming’s stress was much lower now that the astralship was moving alone. No one would enjoy the burden of two trillion lives on their shoulders; now he only had to care about four lives.
“Faster! Faster!” He felt as light as a feather. Under his control, the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb was like a bird that had escaped its cage as it followed the star chart’s directions.
“Sit tight!”
“You’re crazy!”
“Hey!”
Tianming thoroughly enjoyed himself as the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb accelerated, changed course, and spun through the astralscape.
The girls, however, shrieked throughout.
But it wasn’t Tianming’s fault. Two calm years didn’t suit his personality. He was uncomfortable with pure cultivation without any struggles. He was born to be on the battlefield! And now he could finally let out everything he had been repressing.
The Ninedragon Imperial Tomb accelerated to an unfathomable speed. Ji Ji had provided the fastest and safest possible route and wouldn’t let them collide into nova source worlds or other astralships.
However, Tianming couldn’t avoid brushing past nova source worlds. Most were as small as Violetglory, and there were even quite a few skypiercer-class worlds. He even passed by a few deific-class worlds. However, they were quite far away so they didn’t have much visual impact. Still, he could feel that they were much more majestic than skypiercer-class worlds.
“We’ll be passing by a fourth-level nova source world up ahead!” That was a thousand times the size of Violetglory!
It was the only fourth-level nova source on their flight path and there was no way to avoid it. Tianming had been looking forward to it. Although the contact would only be a moment thanks to the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb’s speed, Ji Ji had said that they might be affected by the storms outside it and dragged inside.
“We’re here!” On a certain day, the four youths’ faces were all against the window as they looked ahead, where a purple speck had appeared.
The purple grew larger and larger. From a speck, it became fist-sized, then plate-sized….
Then, it was all they could see.
Loud thunder boomed, rendering them dizzy. It was a world of purple lightning, wrapped in countless lightning serpents.
The Ninedragon Imperial Tomb passed it like a mosquito flying by a mountain, but their feeling of awe couldn’t be described.
“So huge!” They all felt stifled at that moment.
Tianming in particular felt like he had been swallowed up by lightning. Then the world of purple lightning vanished from their sight. He felt like he had dropped into hell, only to immediately crawl out. Behind them, it grew smaller and smaller. However, the feeling it had given him remained for a long time.
“And Infinitum Bodhimanda is a sixth-level nova source world that’s a hundred times bigger than that!” He felt like he was going mad.
There was a month left until they reached their destination. Tianming wouldn’t cultivate during that period, but instead prepare to face a sixth-level world. It was too much of a leap going straight to infinitum-class from skypiercer-class. He had expected the next step of his journey would be to a deific-class world, not this!
