"We can only assist you with two clans, and only one of them will be of the lightning element." Grey stated calmly.
When the gray-haired beastman heard Grey’s words, he frowned. This was not the condition he expected, taking a breath he said, "I don’t understand little friend, if we’re attacking two clans, why can’t they both be of the lightning element?"
Although the gray-haired beastman was quite interested in the lightning elemental treasures from the clans he wanted them to attack, his true reason was purely for revenge. If Grey wants to attack two clans alone, he believed it should be from the three clans he spoke about. Hearing Grey say they would attack only one lightning elemental clan made him quite perplexed.
Grey did not rush, calmly explaining, "As you can see, I’m not the only one assisting you. My friends and I did, and although the lightning element is something almost all of them need, there is one who can’t make any use of it. In that case, I want us to attack one ice or water elemental clan along with one lightning elemental clan.
The gray-haired beastman’s gaze immediately fell on Klaus when he heard this. When they entered the lava pool previously, this amazing-looking youth did not join them. During the battle, he spied on the trio’s battle, and to be honest, he was very impressed. This was the reason he did not make a fuss when Grey brought his friends along into the lava pool. The trio even helped save his grandson during the attack, so of course he was quite appreciative.
After giving it some thought, the gray-haired beastman said, "Little friend, I understand your concern for your friend’s improvement as well, but attacking an entire water or ice elemental clan just for him doesn’t seem worth it, don’t you think?"
"In my clan, there is no one who can benefit from it, not a single individual. Even the Multi-Elementalists we have don’t have the water or ice element as it’s not compatible with our race."
Grey took a glance at the gray-haired beastman, not saying a word. His meaning was clear, unless they could get a treasure for Klaus as well, they would not help.
Sensing Grey’s determination, the gray-haired beastman gritted his teeth and suggested, "What if I show you a place that will be very beneficial to him, in return we attack two of the lightning elemental clans I have in mind?"
"Oh, you know a place where we can get something for him?" Grey asked after noticing the reluctance in the way the gray-haired beastman spoke about it.
"Yes, but it’s very dangerous. It’s not a place I ever want to visit again. But with your strange movement technique, I believe even though it’s hard, you should be able to get it." The gray-haired beastman explained sincerely.
"Is it one of the places that you can regard as a danger zone?" Grey asked.
The gray-haired beastman nodded and said, "Yes, a few years ago, I was being chased by a few enemies and accidentally stumbled on that place. I was almost frozen in place by a strange energy, and there were also some dangerous entities there." After a pause the gray-haired beastman pointed at Alice, "Those entities are almost like your companion’s strange pet that fought with her earlier."
Klaus sucked in a deep breath when he heard this. If what the gray-haired beastman was saying is accurate, that meant there was a place with multiple Seelies in this world. If he could get a Seelie, adding to his normal strength, he was sure he would be unrivaled in his cultivation stage, counting out the freak that was Grey.
Even Grey and Reynolds were a bit surprised by this information. Reynolds, just like Alice never had anything to do with the water element, so just like her, he too could get a Seelie and form a bond with it and gain another extra ability. Grey was not interested in getting a Seelie, but he would not mind bringing one back for his mother.
"Did you notice anything other than those creatures?" Grey asked.
"I did not have the luxury of time to look around, I was on the verge of losing my life, all I did was escape as fast as I could." The gray-haired beastman said, one could still sense the fear in his voice.
Grey frowned when he heard this. The uncertainty in the voice of the gray-haired beastman made him a little wary. If they went there without sufficient information on it, they might fall into danger.
’Void, try to call the bunny, we need some of his scouts that won’t die from the cold.’ Grey sent a voice transmission to Void.
The bunny leader had countless bunnies with all types of elemental abilities, so it was the perfect individual for them to investigate this place.
Void did not have any issues with that, nodding in agreement.
After communicating with Void, Grey turned his attention back to the gray-haired beastman and said, "How long will it take for us to journey to these clans as well as their distance from the frozen danger zone?"
The gray-haired beastman felt a little relieved when he heard this question, at least from this he could tell that Grey was a bit tempted by his offer.
"It’ll take us three weeks to get to the first clan, the frozen danger zone is between both clans. So after we are done with the first clan, I’ll lead you to the location of the danger zone. Mind you, I am not entering that place, nor will anyone from my clan." The gray-haired beastman stated clearly. His fear of that place could not be hidden from anyone, and he did not want anyone close to him to ever get close to that place.
"Don’t worry about anyone following us in, we can deal with that. All we need is the location." Grey did not have any problems with the gray-haired beastman’s unwillingness to follow them into the place, and he could not even blame him.
The gray-haired beastman heaved a sigh of relief when he heard this, he was just about to speak with he heard Grey speak up once more.
"Since that has been sorted, I think it’s time to negotiate how we will share our gains."
