"What's the solution?" Li Luo and Zhen Linshuang both looked at him curiously.

Qi Huang smirked as he answered, "If either Federation Chief Li Luo or Her Excellency the Radiant Goddess were to reach the Ninth Transcendent Duke Stage before the decisive battle, then everything would be resolved."

A single ninth-grade Transcendent was capable of suppressing several Supremes. This was a guaranteed way of turning the tides with true power. Li Luo bitterly smiled while Zhen Linshuang shook her head in disappointment. Only those who had reached their stage could fathom just how impossibly difficult it was to become a ninth-grade Transcendent. This was especially the case for Li Luo, who had reached the peak of the eighth-grade and even had the Dragon Ancestor's Physique.

Between Lu Qing'er's eyebrows was a mystical frost rune that contained a frozen snow lotus. It intermittently released an icy air cold enough to freeze anything in the world. The undulations it emitted were ancient and primordial, possessing a similar aura to the Genesis Seed. Furthermore, Li Luo could sense that Lu Qing'er's strength had grown ferociously since the last time he saw her. He could sense she was already a peak seventh-grade Transcendent. Such rapid growth could easily be attributed to her Genesis Seed.

That said, his heart was filled with complex emotions. In a way, Lu Qing'er had become like this because of him. Li Luo's expression stiffened, as he could feel no emotion in her words and the look she gave him was filled with an icy calmness. It was as though he was no more than a random passerby. When he took in her gorgeous face, as white as ice, he realized that there was no trace of the lively smile that had always adorned it. He was silent for a few moments before lightly sighing. "Qing'er, it's been a while."

When faced with her unfamiliar gaze, Li Luo didn't know how else to continue the conversation. Thus, he turned to Qi Huang and asked, "What do we do with Ao Yan and the Enigmatic Overcast Underworld King?"

"Ao Yan is the Dragon Race's Grand Elder, so Chieftain Zhen will deal with him. I'll bring the Enigmatic Overcast Underworld King with me and see if he will reveal any of the Origin Reversion Institute's secrets," Qi Huang replied.

Li Luo nodded.

"We only managed to seal the Desire Devil King of Sin, the Enigmatic Overcast Underworld King, and Ao Yan because of you, Federation Chief Li Luo. We of the Divine Continent Federation feel obligated to express our sincerity, so I've brought you a gift as a token of appreciation." Qi Huang stretched his hand out, and an ancient jade case adorned with runes appeared, which he then gave to Li Luo.

Upon receiving it, the jade case opened and Li Luo saw a crystal bottle lying quietly within. Inside the crystal bottle was a ray of dark-gold light. The light meandered and flowed within the bottle, as though it contained sentience. At the same time, it seemed incredibly pure and spiritual. A moment later, the resonances within his body started to turn lively.

"Is this... an upper ninth-grade purifying light?" he said with a trembling voice. Only spirit liquids and purifying lights of such a grade were of interest to him.

Qi Huang nodded. "This is a portion of the upper ninth-grade Spirit Gold Purifying Light. Although the Divine Continent Federation doesn't have much of it, in light of your achievements, no one will protest if we give it to you."

"Thank you, Federation Chief Qi Huang," said Li Luo, ecstatic. Currently, his biggest weakness was his middle ninth-grade woodearth resonance. It was preventing him from reaching perfection, and this purifying light would help resolve that.

"However, one portion is too little. If I had ten of them, I would be able to evolve my middle ninth-grade woodearth resonance to the upper ninth-grade. Federation Chief Qi Huang, would you like to invest in me?" he continued in a persuasive tone.

Qi Huang bitterly smiled. "Well, the Divine Continent Federation doesn't have ten portions. Even if we did, we'd have to follow the rules when it comes to distributing them. Otherwise, some people would feel discontent."

It seemed that his coaxing had borne no fruit and thus, Li Luo could only shake his head in regret.

At this point Zhen Linshuang suddenly asked, "Do you want upper ninth-grade spirit liquids and purifying lights?"

Li Luo shot her a suspicious look. "What do you mean? Are you going to give it to me?"

Zhen Linshuang coldly smiled. "Give it to you? You're dreaming." She paused before adding, "I can do a trade."

"What sort of trade?" Li Luo inquired.

Zhen Linshuang's beautiful eyes flickered as a look of embarrassment appeared deep in her arrogant eyes. Despite that, she proudly said, "The two of us have the most perfect Heavenly Dragon bloodlines. On behalf of the Dragon Race, I can give you two portions of upper ninth-grade spirit liquids and purifying lights which we have stored away if you're willing to leave a descendant for the Heavenly Dragon tribe."

These words immediately left Li Luo dumbfounded. Even Qi Huang and Lu Taiyi had excited expressions upon hearing this. As expected of Zhen Linshuang from the Dragon Race—everything she did was completely wild. Was she looking to use Li Luo's seed?
