"Li Luo, what have you done?" Xia Yu couldn't help but ask. She could see an army of pursuers coming after them.
Earlier, she was quite a distance away from Li Luo and his group, so she didn’t know what was happening. While she was rushing over here, she had watched Jiang Qing'e escaping in a beam of light and joined up with them immediately.
"Nothing much, I just picked up two Sovereign Pearls, that's all," Li Luo answered casually.
"Sovereign Pearls?! Two of them?!" Xia Yu exclaimed in surprise.
She knew how valuable Sovereign Pearls were—they were treasures that even upper-grade Dukes would fight over. They were, after all, the main ingredient for forging top-grade Foundational Spirit Treasures!
Xia Yu finally understood why so many people were coming after them.

As the figures blocked their path forward, towering Duke Bergfrieds materialized in the air.
There were four third-grade Dukes! They were all garbed in white, and a chilly air permeated the surroundings.
"Hand over the Sovereign Pearl, Li Luo!" they shouted. For a moment, the temperature in the surrounding area appeared to have plummeted.

Light burst out of the Sacred Crown of Thorns and a crystal-clear Ten-Pillar Duke Bergfried materialized in the air. At the same time, enormous energy poured out from the four thousand Guardians behind her.
Jiang Qing'e flicked her finger, and a beam of light shot out from her Sacred Crown of Thorns. Unrivaled Divine Mist rose up from her Duke Bergfried and fused with the beam of light.
